Dirty throughout the property. The building is in a state of disrepair. Odd smell. Wi-Fi signal was so weak in my room that I couldn’t connect my devices. Curtains in room were stained. The Door handle and lock to my room was difficult to lock (sunken door frame?).

Good location with ample parking. Friendly enough host. Really comfortable bed. Very cheap.

Only downside was loads of noise from room room next to ours and someone actually confusing our room with theirs and giving us mini heart attacks in the middle of the night hahahah we found it quite funny the day after 🤣 we did travel for very busy event so noise and it being busy was to be expected.

Paul was fantastic and lovely host. Very friendly and polite. Our room was spacious with lovely big bed and plenty 9f storage space. It was amazing weekend away and I would definitely recommend booking at Ty Rosa if you need great place to stay at fabulous price. Our room was about 20 min walk to the main city centre so it was easy for us to move about. Ty Rosa is close enough that you can walk but far away enough to escape noise of the city. We travelled for clash at the castle so city centre was super busy. We managed to get on street parking in great location as well. We had no problem with food getting delivered if that is somethig that anyone might be wondering about. The shared bathroom aspect was nothing to worry about and we did not have to wait at any point, hotel accomedates perfect amount of people so it wasn't overcrowded. We were made to feel very welcome and loved our stay. Would definitely book again and highly recommended 😁

The fact there was hooligans outside a couple of nights that chased us in from out side and wen we first arrived the fact there was loads of flys around to the point we had to go buy fly spray and air conditioner they give u a tv in ur room but the signal is crap and u can't really watch TV only 2 channels worked in the evenings it was nice until the people in the rooms next to us kept going in nd out at all hours of the early morning my son couldn't sleep

run down, untidy common area’s, cat sat in the back porch area awaiting the return of the resident rat… couldn’t tell you if they were friends but certainly not foe’s photos on the site do not depict the venue … should only be labelled as a B as they don’t serve Breakfast any more…

Unfortunately I was put in the wrong room however this was quickly resolved by offering a generous discount and moving me into the correct room the following day. The sink in my room needs re-fixing to the wall.

The property lies a half hour's walk from the town, 25 mins from Cardiff Bay, with convenience stores nearby. Merely to say that Clive St. is quite a busy thoroughfare, so earplugs, if enjoying a front-facing room, may be useful ...

General cleanliness was poor, the who house felt uncared for, we found an empty bottles and old sock behind a chair in our room. No breakfast.

The guys were very good with communication after an issue occured with the room. They arranged alternative accommodation for my stay whilst they had the issue fixed.

I wasn't there - this was booked for son and girlie, wales still in a kinda lockdown so no buffet breakfast - but facilities for rooms included micro and fridge as well as T&C facilities bathroom shared but no issues

When we arrived the found the car parking very limited but might be because we arrived early. We parked on the other side of the road and a bit further down from the property. Although we were not in the room for long we found the TV an issue where it kept going off and weirdly when you stand in the room the tv will go off. Just a small issue but was a bit annoying.

Excellent location - only a 10 minute walk from the centre and a bus stop just outside. Also plenty of shops around the area. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly - we didnt get the chance to properly talk to them as we were mainly out and about but when we did Paul was very friendly and helpful. The value of the stay was excellent and would be happy to stay again for this alone. The room was nice and bed was big and comfortable.

Very poor cleanliness, attention needed to bathroom fitting as they are rusty and dirty carpets need fixing on the stairs as they are loose.

I thought i could access the kitchen being d major reason i opted for the facilty but I was restricted (reason given was becos of COVID-19)... even doe Paul tried d best he could by helping to preserve my foods in d fridge and microwaving them for me anytime I needed them..But I could have preferred to do so all by myself...

I got value for my money...very neat room and shared bathroom. paul was very helpful too, I checked in as a guest and checked out as friends.. I will visit their again and also refer friends..

Rather small room. Very creaky bed which woke us at night. Stair carpet and decoration needed updating. Gaps under the shower tray needed repair. Towel rail was loose and unsafe. No bathrobes or DVD player were provided, as per the room description.

Friendly welcome. Good shower. Plenty of tea & coffee. Warm room.
