Fabulous setting, the staff were so helpful and friendly - we are going back in September :)

The room was very warm (beautiful sunshine on it all day) so the fan wasn't enough to cool us down.

The beautiful gardens and outside bar. The bathroom was great with a powerful shower and lots of room. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Room was small but we just booked the most basic room. It was fine for a couple of nights. Otherwise all great.

Lovely pet friendly hotel. Rooms were small but adequate and well appointed with tea and coffee facilities and complementary chocolate. Breakfast was included for us and was good- it included cooked options and basic cold options. The restaurant staff were always fantastic and extremely friendly and helpful. They were really attentive and went out of their way to help. We were able to get dog friendly tables for breakfast and dinner. The restaurant was really good for dinner too! Great view from the room.

Make sure heating is working in rooms! We think there should be a dog free area in the bar!

The location of hotel is fabulous, we want to go back when it is warmer! The majority of the food was very nice, but I ordered a steak, I think it was the fatty grizzly part that had been cut off the meat, it was awful! The rooms were nice but the heating in our room was broken and the weather was really cold at the time! We had to move rooms and the radiator in the bathroom couldn’t be switched on in the new room!

The evening meal was a little disappointing. Some of the vegetables looked and tasted a little tired. Some of the staff in the bar were somewhat brusque or sarcastic. When I was in the bar, in the evening, I asked for a menu (people with dogs have to eat in the bar) and I was asked, in an unhelpful tone "A menu for what?"

The breakfast was very good. Stevie the General Manager was excellent. A very attentive and genuine person, obviously committed to ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay.

My evening meal on the 2nd night was average.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The room was lovely and had a great view, however it was quite small but fine for just sleeping in. Bathroom and shower were good.

Parking can be tricky as only small car park used by none residents during the day. Plenty of space early on or later at night

Great location. Comfy room. Lovely breakfast choice and good food available in bar or restaurant and on a good day great outside seating area too.

    1. Noise - Our room was on the first floor facing the main road and the entrance of the pub, since it was a bank holiday weekend it was quite busy and noisy outside! 2. Food could have been better - We had breakfast and dinner (the reception staff was kind enough to make the dinner reservation for us), we were less than impressed with the food.

    1. Location - very convenient for walks/drive along the coastline. Plus the beautiful view is cherry on top! 2. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. 3. The facilities in the room included everything plus an option to get fresh milk for teas/coffees if needed!
