The only criticism was the bathroom. The shower was outdated and the bathroom was very small. Would've preferred a bathroom with a shower but I know most don't have those these days. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. :)

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped through the door. They made sure we had everything and even gave our little dog a fuss. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. The location/view and local amenities was all we needed during our stay and if we weren't visiting family, we'd have been quite content with staying at the hotel and in Menai Bridge throughout our stay on Anglesey.

Nothing really - we didn't eat in the hotel apart from breakfast which was great and plenty of it, so can't comment on the food.

Pet friendly hotel and Wonderful staff. Excellent location and views over the Straits. Lovely ground floor room with little patio area.

Our room was on the roadside so was noisy with windows open. Double bed was small & uncomfortable......room big enough for larger bed size. Room & furniture in need of updating.

Bathroom was too small. The wifi did not work. No lifts - this will be difficult for people with big suitcases. The interior was dated; if the interior was completely refurbished, it would be an excellent hotel.

Excellent location with great views of the Menai Straits. Very good breakfast. Free and readily available on-site parking. Large outdoor garden with very good views. Good helpful staff

My husband is vegetarian and the only suitable item on the menu was a veggie burger. You have a gate closer to the straits that was closed. We would have used it on several occasions, not least when walking the dog.

Room 22 was wonderful, having a balcony and a superb vuew, There was space for our dog's travelling crate and he was made welcome too. The garden was wonderful and, again, dog friendly. The staff were most helpful especially in helping us find somewhere to get a meal.

Although dogs were welcome, after two staff members watched us struggle (both disabled) through to the restaurant an obnoxious man came hurrying through as soon as we settled to say the dog couldn't be there. We said we were happy to sit out on the terrace and he said we would have to order from the bar...2 rooms away. Spoilt our stay.

Nothing to dislike understand a refurbishment is in the pipeline as whilst hotel is clean and tidy ii is a little tired.

Lovely clean friendly dog friendly hotel in a great location. Great breakfast in pleasant conservatory with views of well kept garden and Menai. Room with views from balcony was clean and contained everything we needed.

Not a fan of serve-yourself cooked breakfast. Evening Bar staff were disorganised and in one case, less than polite.

Room very comfortable...WiFi excellent...Reception and Breakfast Room staff very friendly and helpful. Perfect location.
