Great location for the town. Very friendly staff. We were in a Queen room, very clean, tea, coffee and waters. Nice TV. Spotless bathroom with nice toiletries. Comfy bed and pillows. It was a little cooler than I would have liked as the temperature was pre set but it was -3 out so that will have made a difference. It wasn’t a problem. We didn’t eat here but we used the gym, pool, steam room etc which was great. All in all a nice stay 🥰

The barman News Years Eve wasn't able to make cocktails, which was a shame. The leisure facilities area could do with a refresh in its decor, and a second person on the reception desk would be beneficial at peak times. We'd booked with friends and found ourselves at different ends of the hotel which wasn't ideal but otherwise we had a great stay.

The room was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast buffet had something for everyone and individual requests were catered for if needed. The dining area, bar and reception are spacious and comfortable; and the leisure facilities are a great extra. We had a sharing board luncheon in the bar which was excellent.

The cooked breakfast was a bit underwhelming but couldn’t fault the hotel otherwise.

This was a brilliant hotel for the low price we paid. Our room was cosy and clean. The breakfast was okay but the service guy at breakfast called Madgeek (possibly misspelt ) was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. He gave a 5 star service which isn’t always the case in hotels.

I think there was a poor planning on the number of staff available to check people in and out, when it is New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day The express checkout was not obvious, which probably delayed things for people

Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable for side sleepers like ourselves. I found the pillows were too thin and didn't provide enough neck support as the feathers/stuffing shifted as you lay on them. We used the pool and spa, the female changing rooms floor was muddy and dirty, the changing rooms had hair on the floor and the lockers were rotting, rusty and mouldy on the inside. The showers in both the male and female have glass in them that isn't frosted so the privacy of showering isn't there, very bizarre as I've never seen this anywhere else. The jacuzzi didn't work when we arrived and wasn't warm. Once the lady at the desk got it working it was blowing out cold bubbles and didn't warm up. We enjoyed the steam room though but everyone was in this and the sauna as the pool was quite cold too. I didn't appreciate as the front desk took my phone number for emergencies that they continued to text me to see how my stay was throughout our trip. This made me feel uncomfortable as I was made to believe the purpose of having my number was for other reasons. We didn't use the restaurant, bar or have breakfast on this trip (£17.95pp per day) and found a coffee shop in the town centre to have breakfast instead.

Quiet room, great value for money over the period between Christmas and New Year. Location of room was great, high up with a view of Solihull town centre. 4 minute walk into town to grab a bite to eat, shop or see friends (which was the purpose of our trip). Size of the room was good, bathroom and with walk in shower was fab, lots of storage space. I like the adults only times for the pool and that as a guest we were given towels and the lockers were free to use. Lots of car parking however, it is a £10 per night/day fee. When we arrived at our room we were missing hand soap, a quick call down to reception and this was sorted for us. We were also given the same room we had stayed in previously when we came to see our friends in July. The big draw for this hotel is the facilities it offers and location.

4 nights and didn’t change sheets once. Disabled parking charged every night. Sink in accessible room too small, if washing hands water flooded onto floor. Unable to use hot water in it at all as water splashed out every time. Quite useless .

I really missed a towelrack or anything we could hang up our wet swimsuits and trunks. Also the pool, gym and spa was not open from 5pm on Christmas Eve till the morning hours on Boxing Day. When I booked this hotel for our Christmas holiday, it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Unfortunately people who used the sauna and steam room didn’t know anything about the sauna etiquette. It was disgusting to see as they went to the pool right after they`d left the sauna. Most of them were members!!! and not guests.

Our room and the hotel was very clean. For us the location was perfect. Staff was very helpful all the time.

The pool area was great for the family to splash about, but the whole leisure area felt a little tired compared with the rest of the hotel, and in definite need of updating. The staff were lovely, however the service in the restaurant on the 1st night was a little sluggish given that we were the only people in it, and there were several mix ups with our order which didn't help. Having kids (2/6 yo) with us and not opening until 7pm wasn't ideal, but having paid for the half-board option in advance didn't feel like we had much choice but to wait. Our room 351 had an exterior wall in which the headboard was bolted too, I can only assume there is A/C units bolted to it, as the headboard rattled non stop, felt like I was on a cruise ship when sat up and left against it.

Hotel is well located for visiting both the Snowdome & Cadburys World. The rooms were well appointed and a good size. The restaurant and communal areas are nice too, and all the staff were very friendly. The food quality on the half-board option was very good also.

Paying £10 to park at the hotel. The bed was small and not very comfortable, there was a hole in the duvet cover. The tea making facilities had not been refilled and the conditioner was empty. The buffet breakfast was only just edible.

Very nice updated room. The hotel is in an excellent location close to the town centre.
