I could hear EVERYTHING from other rooms. The upstairs neighbors were the worst, moving around at all hours of the night. The internet didn't work the majority of the time and couldn't be trusted for my work meetings, which is why I booked the stay - to have a good space for work close to the beach.

An amazing place for people traveling with dogs! The dog run is so cool and access to dog beach is in your backyard.

When we entered the room it smelled like dog urine and the floor was not the cleanest it could be mopped very well since dogs frequent this hotel.

It was dog friendly, location was perfect next to dog beach. The pool was heated and pleasant. The beds were comfortable.

Great location, lovely grounds lots of plants and attractive flowers all labeled. Kitchy Beach vibe. Really cute little airstream diner coffee shop right outside motel door. Basic accommodations not fancy, on the beach. Great fun. Guest laundry and dog wash available.

The parking fees for a day I think is stealing because the don't say it .When I ask about it the answer was you have to read the papers.That is going down to minus 30%

The floors were filthy. My feet were black after being there minutes. Complained last time I was there and was told that it’s a dog hotel. I’m aware that’s why I stay there. I also pay extra money for the dog. Clean your floors. The front desk said they’re cleaned and mopped after each stay. I hardly think so

It definitely needs some upgrades to the linens, patio furniture, and some upgrades to other things or at least some paint on stuff. It would be great for there to be some kind of barrier between rooms in the patio. My dog is small and has one eye and very anxious so we had to constantly keep an eye to see when it was empty to go outside.

The bathroom was too old and dirty looking, floors needed to be replaced, beds and living room couch should have been replaced years ago. Just too warn

The location made this property amazing. We stayed in a room that was not renovated so very old, rusty, floor not in good shape, beds not very comfortable. But the location was basically on the beach. We hardly spent any time in the room other to sleep. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They had a pool that looked clean and would be a great place to hang out with friends.

We book a room at the Ocean Villa Inn so we could take our dogs (who have never seen the ocean) to the beach. The inn is located literally a stone's throw from the beach, which made it super easy to get the dogs there. Our ground floor room opened to a fenced dog run so the dogs could be let outside without worry. The room was clean, spacious, and serviceable. Parking was perfect. We parked in front of our room whilst we were there and walked to the beach. The Inn is located in a trendy part of the beach area, close to nearby shops and restaurants, most within walking range. For the very reasonable price we paid, the Inn was close to perfect.

Wasn't informed by Booking.com of a $150 per room deposit. Had to do without food funds because of this unexpected expense. They did waive the parking fee because of the extra hour waiting for a room to be cleaned, and they knew the inconvenience of the deposit. The fee wasn't stated anywhere but hotel staff. Was informed that Booking won't update the fee's so this happens a lot.

The hotel has rooms upstairs that are not for dogs and have been remodeled and have great views overlooking dog beach. The sunset was spectacular. The room and view are why I rated high. The front and rooms downstairs I can’t speak the same way for. Lots of riff raff but fun to people watch.
