Coffee in a tea-bag in the room is really not great. Some scuffing or peeling paint in the bathroom. Some parts of the hotel showing their age - like the lift!

Spacious, well furnished rooms, clean and comfortable. Great staff, good location, an easy walk into Solihull and a short drive to the NEC.

Rooms have decent size, beds are fine. Occasionally, you have the usual car park noises (car alarms going off etc), but noise level is otherwise pretty decent. Breakfast and restaurant service are really good. Leisure center has a swimming pool, a small steam room, and a fitness room.

The leisure facilities were a bit ick. It was very run down and tired looking however the hot tub was nice and I’d rather have a working hot tub then nice looking facilities but everything cold. I mentioned the facilities when I left and the receptionist explained that as it’s a separate company who owns the facilities then they don’t have much say on how it looks but they are trying to get them updated

Property was modern and lovely decor. The room was initially smaller than I thought but still had everything we needed. The hotel was massive so it was a bit of a walk from the room to reception/bar/leisure facilities. The staff were lovely and helpful. The food for breakfast was also delicious and a great range including for guests that have allergies.

Someone came into my room from maintenance - didn’t ask for it he got wrong room. Bathroom sounded like it had a generator underneath it

Sheets and pillows really lovely, staff so friendly and helpful - the cleaner Jo, the lovely guy in the leisure centre, the receptionist at Lynette at breakfast. Delicious breakfast too. People couldn't be more helpful and friendly and great central location.

Staff in the restaurant need a little more training but the food was very good and they were very pleasant.

Service in the brasserie was a bit chaotic and all over the place at times, especially for the price. The menu online for the Brasserie is also different to the actual menu in the restuarant.

It would have been great if we hadn't had to pay for parking.

The room was a great size, lovely big comfy bed and it was spotlessly clean. The dinner / breakfast were delicious, great size portions and was brilliant value for money. The hotel is in a great location, lovely, leafy and safe and just a five minute stroll from the shops and restaurants of Solihull.

Only dropping one point because the crockery at breakfast was a little dirty, some cups with fresh stains (rings) still in them. I’m prepared to put it down to an “off day”. Otherwise excellent. Oh one last thing… please put salmon on your breakfast menu for pescatarians.

I only had scrambled egg on toast as I'm vegetarian and have special dietary requirements due to health conditions, The egg tasted like egg powder it made me sick which meant I couldn't take my medication

Despite leaving a card at reception we had to mess about when we had our evening meal as they restaurant couldn't see a card registered. We were also overcharged when we left, which was sorted but it was a bit disappointing

I can't comment on food or facilities as we just wanted an overnight stay while travelling south. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, we were upgraded with no extra cost. I would stay again..

The room was great, staff were fantastic and location wise I really couldn't fault the hotel in general. Leisure facilities were a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Food was good for dinner and breakfast.

Took us 3 phone calls to get towels , reception is not manned all the time as phone call is not always answered when needed (however they do call back) There were no slippers at the hotel, given the price we paid u would expect the basic necessity to be there.

Room was nice and clean and comfortable Overall the hotel was nice and comfortable, just the small things that let it down.
