No elevator and I was just after surgery and had crutches so had to walk un a flight of stairs to get to my room which wasn't the nicest and also the room was very cold. Couldn't turn on the radiator so because of that very little warm water but very luke warm water.

The cleanliness and facilities. The quality of the food was excellent in the evening at their restaurant. Compliments to the chef. Reception staff were lovely. The restaurant staff I could not complement. They were professional, but certainly not friendly or polite in attitude. The breakfast facilities were late to open and were very unprepared. Staff at breakfast were more affable.

Lots of young children making mess everywhere (which can’t be helped by property I understand) Children running the floors until around 1am then back up at 6am. Disturbed sleep.

We have stayed previously and love the location, it’s just out of the city so handy if you want to drive in but out of the way of the hassle and bustle

Pool in the temperature a little bit cold (travelling with a 2-year-old). A 40-minute wait for dinner on Saturday night.

The room was excellent, very comfy beds. The spa was nice. The staff were very accomodating.

Rooms are basic with outdated deco. Bathrooms have seen better days. Very small half baths and shower head pernamently fixed to the wall is not a great option for 6ft tall man or a woman with long hair. Pool, steam room and sauna in need of refurbishment. Very warn down and looked dirty in some places but poor maintenance will be the major factor here.

Friendly restaurant and bar staff. Always there to assist and have a little banter. Night manager and and spa/pool teams were great to interact with.

Location is a bit far from town and only convenient to get to if you had a car. The in house restaurant was ok for food.

The hotel was wonderful, room was modern and spacious. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool, gym, sauna, steam room were free to use, spa costs additional. The pool was bigger than we expected and it was fantastic for a quick swim.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was a disaster. Constant queues at welcome area. Not enough staff. Hot plate far too small. Forever a queue waiting on plates and food to arrive. One particular staff, although whilst under pressure didn’t handle kids well around hot plate, was very rude. As per lots having to wait for plates. Then having to wait again for eggs etc. a bigger hot plate holding more food would simplify everything. Most staff were busy constantly trying to restock the hot plate !!!! Couldn’t clear tables or reset for next people. Was shown to the only clear table left which still had no cups or cutlery etc.

Good facilities. Very good dinner on Saturday evening. Plenty of attentive staff. Food excellent.

Most of the staff were very nice. But me and my husband wanted to explore so we went in the spa room which the staff member was quick to throw us out. We later seen her down at the pool area and she seemed nice cause the boss was there. The rest of the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough

It is out of town but I knew that in advance to be fair. Parts are a bit dated but it was very clean

Having read the reviews I was a bit unsure but I really liked the place. The staff were really good especially the young guy on reception Ryan? who went the extra mile. The food was really nice and lots of choice both at dinner and breakfast. I used the gym which was large and well equipped

However, one of the mattresses was quite poor quality in contrast to the other one we had in the room. Just one more thing - it would be nice if there was a vending machine with snacks/soft drinks!

The hotel was fabulous - the room was so modern, plenty of lights, mirrors and space! It was lovely and quiet - had a great nights sleep! The amenites were very good along with the swimming pool! A lovely touch with the free water too - extremely impressed!!

The only drawback for me was that the room was too warm, I couldn't turn off the radiator. It was very windy and I couldn't open the window
