A very minor point - top box freezer door did not close properly, could benefit from being defrosted.

Location perfect, 10mins walk to main streets for shops bars, etc - sea views sunset and sunrise were wonderful. A lovely place to stay.

lighting in bedrooms could be improved since no bedlight next to bed and bedside table in twin room would be helpful

The only one thing I would improve was to have a bigger pasta pot in the kitchen. We cooked pasta and also fresh langoustines however had to cook in shifts due to pot size. This was not a big deal though. We managed!

Location wasn wonderful with the most outstanding views from every window. Lots of interesting walks from the property. Apartment was cosy and comfortable. Two bathrooms and two eating areas. Lovely extras including good selection of teas and an offering of malt whiskeys. Highly reccommend this property and really hope to return. THe weather was quite rough on a couple of the days but we so enjoyed watching the waves crashing in almost below our window.

Fabulous location !terrific view from the apartment.Very clean and cosy .Child & pet friendly.well equipped , did t want for anything. Very nice offering different teas & coffee & milk. So kind offering a dram too .

Stair lighting was poor on the lower landing during the day and the entrance was dark , although it did come on at night. This should be raised with the factors. Living door didn’t shut fully .

We liked the view. Property was bright and spacious. Liked option of eating in kitchen or lounge. Having two bathrooms was a real asset. Nicely furnished apartment.

We stayed in between Christmas and New year for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. The weather was wild and loved sitting at the window watching the crashing waves come in. The flat was really cozy, great beds and lots of towels. We ate at Lido one of the nights which was lovely. Great parking too. We were trying to work out how we could retire somewhere like this. We have booked again for next year!

Lack of toilet paper on arrival had to go to local shops.Hospitality whiskey however all bottles empty so not much point in them being there.

I was in Troon on business but took my parents for the trip. Wow, what a beautiful place. The apartment has the most fantastic view, it's just beautiful. The apartment was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I hope to return in the future for a longer stay.

Bedroom carpets need replacing,(stained ) Frying pan and roasting trays need replacing. En suite extractor fan needs replacing (dirty and ill fitted)

Be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to go up and down if that’s a problem for you.

Some fixtures and fittings have seen better days and in need of repair/replacement. This didn't have any impact on our stay, just an observation.

Views from the property were absolutely stunning. Being on the corner and second floor extended the views. Wifi worked perfectly and plenty of spaces to park. Scott's Bar and the Harbour Bar, both within 6-7 a minute walk and both served excellent food (albeit at contrasting prices, Scott's was expensive). The town itself was only a 10 minute walk and with the coastal location, walks were really enjoyable. The owner left a variety of complimentary whiskeys, that went down well. We would definitely go again.
