How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely nothing great value
The hotel is new so everything was of a high standard. We had the room with a balcony definitely worth the extra. Room was well furnished nice en-suite and super clean. Season not in full swing so no breakfast offer but plenty of places near by and access to coffee and tea 24/7. Staff very helpful. Outside seating. Hotel non smoking a rare find

Heater was not hot enough, but did not cause any inconvenience during our stay.

The property felt very new- beds were super comfy and the room was clean. Yulia was very friendly and offered us free fruit and porridge- there is also free tea and coffee. The location is walkable to the mashrutka stand and also up to the church. We had a lovely view of Kazbeg and a balcony!

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room is spacious and cozy. It was so clean and new too. The bathroom was huge and amenities were sufficiently provided. I would choose this hotel again if I were to visit kazbegi again.

The bed was a bit too soft for me
The interior design is so modern and clean; the room is spacious, well-designed, and well-maintained; the view of the snow mountain is pretty good; the owner is warm and friendly; the wife is very good; free coffee and tea served. Overall, very good value!!!

We recently stayed at the GRAF and was thoroughly impressed. The room offered an awe-inspiring view of Mt. Kazbeg, making every moment memorable. Wish the cost of b fast was more reasonable. The 35 Lari per head seemed to be a deterrent. A simple bfast at a reasonable cost would be great. Also on one of the days our pizza's were eaten by someone. I know this had nothing to do with the hotel but it left us scrambling for dinner. The pillows were too plump. Wished they had an option to change on request.
The location was stunning. Beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were really helpful . The dining room and kitchen was really useful as the restaurants were in town . The free coffee, tea and filtered drinking water was a great value add. They also helped us launder some clothes. Adequate parking.

I’d love it more if we could have a heating pot at our own room instead of in the common dining room.
It’s a very nice place to stay, especially after the exhausting yet exciting trip to and from the Gergeti Trinity Church. The room has a lovely smell.

The balcony room is blocked the view by hotel in front. However, it is not a big issue. Overall view is still great anyway.
