Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceEverything was perfect! The family was adorable and the supra and breakfast they prepared with love were delicious! They were very excited and eager to share their culture with us. The room was impeccable with a good view (if you’re lucky with the weather), and the house was conveniently located. We’d highly recommend this guest house if you’re stopping by sighnagi.

United StatesIt’s a guesthouse, not a hotel, don’t expect luxury.
I love staying in local guesthouses for an authentic experience. The owner can speak good English, and they are very kind people. The owner upgraded my room free of charge. I very much appreciate it. From the guesthouse, you can see the majestic mountain in town. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street, free of noise. Since Sighnathi is a small town, you can walk everywhere. The owner provides meals at a charge. I hope I will be returning in the future. I love this very chill little town to stay awhile.

SlovakiaThe whole family was very friendly, we had a lovely evening with them. A few days later in another city (Telavi), we met one of the owners who gave us recommendations for sightseeing there and even warned us that the road we were about to take was closed, and recommended an alternative road to take, which saved us a lot of time and energy (since both navigation apps wanted to route us through the closed region). :)

United StatesThis is a guesthouse, not a fancy hotel. So if you don't want a guesthouse experience, where you mix with the family and with other guests, it probably isn't for you. But it just depends on what you are looking for during your time in the region.
Unfailing hospitality and more food than any human can be expected to eat. Super convenient since everything was arranged by the guesthouse, from our drive from Tbilisi to our sightseeing in the Kakheti region. This is a unique experience for travelers looking to get a sense of Georgian life thanks to the hospitality of the owners. And it's a great value.

AustraliaI loved the entire experience so much that I extended my stay by 2 nights. However I will say that there are cosmetic issues with some services, but everything is full functional. The drainage in the shower was very slow, but that didn't bother me. Like I said, you are living with a family, and you will be living by their standards.
This experience was genuinely unforgettable and will have me returning to Georgia in the future. Appropriately called a Guest House, you will authentically experience living with a Georgia family and integrating with their way of life. It's not a hotel, or a hostel, it is a guest house. For example, I walked to the home from the bus station at 10pm, in 8 degrees, and was quivering my the time I stepped through the front door. When I was greeted I was shown my room immediately and then told to drop my things and come to dinner to warm up. The long table was fully stocked with a Georgian banquet and then the toasts of wine started as well. I was the only guest on this particular night but it felt that I had been immediately adopted by the family. The rooms are clean and the bed are comfy and warm. Wall heaters are available in the room and you can adjust them as you wish. I had no issues whatsoever. Did I feel safe and comfortable? Absolutely. Would I recommend this to others? 110% Yes.

United KingdomFantastic views overlooking the mountains. George and his family were fantastic hosts who helped us organise our trip, and provided us a tour of the region's wineries. We were given their homemade wine and some local snacks on arrival, and a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Our group of 24 people had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights. Very friendly family run guest house with stunning views. Good WiFi, comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. David, his mum and the family made us feel like at home! Here we had the opportunity to taste Georgian hospitality to full extent with traditional breakfast, straight from the oven bread, fresh fruits and coffee, followed by true feast for dinner, great food, shashlyk and never ending homemade wine and chacha! Totally recommend this place if you want to feel at home from home. Thank you for having us x

AustraliaNothing to fault
One of the best experiences in 6 months of travel. The host family is so sweet and fantastic cooks, I had the dinner with the other hotel guests and it was amazing. The food and wine was never ending, everything was delicious and it was such a great cultural exchange between travellers and locals. Also an awesome way to eat more Georgian food. The breakfast was also delicious the next morning. The rooms are comfortable and it's a great way to break up the stays in hostels. The location is a 12 min walk from the bus station, and the grandfather of the guesthouse offered to drive me down. I wish I stayed longer, the family is so warm and welcoming and it felt like home.

NetherlandsProbably the best stay I've ever booked. David and his family are beyond kind and eager to involve the guests into their daily activities. I got to learn so much while staying at Zandarashvili guest house - from the process of making chacha to home made Churchkhela! David's mother and family cooked breakfast while I was staying there - all the best of Georgian cuisine! You can tell that this family has been welcoming people from all over the world in their house for many years (since '05!!). Hospitality at its finest. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom very clean. 10/10 experience! I loved my stay here and I'll make sure to come back during the summer to experience Sighnaghi in peak season. Thank you for your kindness and for making it so special! ❤️ If you're looking to experience Sighnaghi and socialize with a Georgian family look no further...just book Zandarashvili guest house now!

IndiaLoved my stay here! It felt like home away from home! David, Georgi and their mother were just lovely. The home is cosy and comfortable, the breakfast is tasty and their dogs are playful and loving! The best part was their supras at night-----a true Georgian feast with so much good food, wine, toasts and endless conversations. It's a great chance to bond with the family and other guests. I was travelling alone, but I didn't feel lonely or left out at any point. I would highly recommend trying the supra (it's optional). The property is also located close to the Old City Wall and other sights. I would definitely stay here again!

ItalyThe room style is a bit old, but the rooms are clean and comfortable so personally, I didn't care so much, I just enjoyed my stay
Nice welcoming guests, amazing dinner, and breakfast with local products. The location is really great one step from all the touristic things and the room and the terrace have a wonderful view over the Caucasus mountains. I really appreciate that they organized for us a car to go back to Tbilisi and do a small tour on our way back
