Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ChinaI have to pay $66 at the front desk instead of $53 as it’s stated on Booking.com. and I just seems not to understand it. the reason given was that’s the management rules. Booking.com check this and put things in right other.

NigeriaFood needs more variety, and cater for vegetarians too. A map of the town will also be good. No help with any tourist or sightseeing activity. The Internet went down for like 2 days, which really put me off. A Staff had to share data with me via hotspot from their phone until it was resolved. The Breakfast was okay initially but became boring; it was the same thing served every morning, not too much variety. Same thing with the Dinner, maybe because I stayed for too long- 6 Nights.
The Gym was quite nice, and a well-maintained swimming pool. The environment is calm and serene. The location was good, and the pick-up from the airport was smooth. Friendly and supportive staff too.

I liked the friendliness of the staff especially one guy called Enock. They were accommodating!

NigeriaThere's a bad road the very last stretch before getting to the hotel. Hopefully it would be fixed so that getting there can be much more seamless.
It was decent and neat. I like that there's a nice pool and a poolside bar. The staff were nice and responsive. It's a 2 star hotel ( I think) so I'd pretty much say my expectations were met. The location was also ideal for where I needed to be in the city. It's not too far from the Labadi Beach.

United StatesMy room was terrible. The sink didn’t work. The tub was dirty and the hand rails were broken and I almost fell. I texted the hotel after my stay regarding $150 USD worth of test kits I left behind in room 305 and they never responded to my inquiries and I had to leave the country without my property. I believe the intentionally stole my belongings.

GhanaThe way the receptionist welcomed me. According to the receptionist, the prices aren't updated even though I had a discount on this up. She gave me a room with poor quality. Not only were the keys and lock to my room spoilt, the bathroom and bedroom weren't tidy.
