Nothing really. There are a few things to consider though. Although there is a private toilet it is liquid only and doesn't have a shower but the facilities are not far away at all so it's fine but just an FYI. Also, it's European plugs so bring an adaptor :)

We loved the boat we stayed on it was actually the yacht next door to the main boat which was a wonderful surprise! Facilities were great. The kitchenette was well stocked with everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. The deck was spacious and seats/tables etc made for a lovely view.

Nothing major at all - only 2 tiny things which I mentioned to Johnny was that the hatch at the top of the stairs was a little tricky to shut from the inside which he said he'd fix with some candle wax to make it slide smoothly, and the main bedroom doesn't have a mirror in it (the bathroom does) but you'd need a long chord to use your own hair dryer or straighteners.

The Jasmine Coral Jay was easy to find from the instructions I was given, and I was met with a very warm welcome from Johnny and Tracey. I booked the deluxe-double room which is actually a separate yacht moored next to the Jasmine Coral Jay! I couldn't believe that I had a 50ft 6 berth yacht all to myself, but I did! Tracey helped me on-board and gave me a guided tour, showing me how the en-suite toilet pump worked after a number 1... ..the number 2 rule still applies (I have never stayed on a yacht before so wasn't aware of the rule until Johnny politely explained it). There is a shower too but I chose to use the Marina facilities which were excellent. The yacht I stayed on is fully equipped with a lovely seating and dining area in white leather and beautiful polished wood everywhere. The main bedroom has a huge oval shaped bed which is really comfortable, and the boat has a very well equipped kitchen with a fridge, kettle, toaster, mugs, glassess, plates etc so you're able dine it or out. There is a 2nd toilet, next to another double room, and a 3rd bedroom which is used for storing the outside seating cushions. This was my first trip to Gibraltar and Johnny and Tracey gave lots of good recommendations on where to eat, places to visit etc which was really helpful being a solo traveler. I have read some negative reports about the communal toilet on the main boat, I only used it once when I was having a drink one evening and it was fine, so I'd recommend that if you want private bathroom facilities then book the double-deluxe room. The marina really is the place to be, it's so quiet, peaceful, and a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants and 5 mins from there you are in Main Street.

Travelling as a family from Fuengirola for the night with a disabled child I booked this as we would have access to a toilet during the night, my son goes no2 a few times during this period but we were told that in this case he would have to walk over to a bathroom 70 odd metres away to use that facility which is not ideal for a child with special needs. This needs to be stated in the advertisement as this was the only reason we booked here. It is VERY MISLEADING as they say they have 2 toilets on board, not that you can only pee. No one around at bag drop off, two hours after check in our room wasn't ready, was told I had to pay my taxes again even though I had paid them already through booking.com and no one about 10 mins later after check in when we had to leave. Then when this was disputed with booking.com they had the cheek to say we didn't turn up which was proved to be untrue through booking.com as I sent receipts and screenshot to them. Give this place a wide berth and stay elsewhere!

    Location was good,

Only downside is that you have to go for a shower and a number 2 in the toilets at the marina.

Nice and comfortable stay for one night only. The hosts were very welcoming and relaxed. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were spot on.

There nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The Jasmin Coral is absolutely stunning and has a gorgeous view of the rock from the top deck. It’s spotless inside and out and very spacious. The hosts Tracey & Johnny are incredible people and they literally made our holiday what it was. For my first time staying on a boatel it exceeded any expectations I had and I would highly recommend the Jasmin Coral to anyone. You will not be disappointed. The boat is literally within a 5 minute walk from the local shops, restaurants and night life and 10 mins from local town centre. Beautiful place with beautiful people.

Hot, very hot berths. Even with a fan. Had to leave the door open to stay cool, but even then uncomfortable.

It was a fun novelty to stay on a boat. The room was really comfortable and clean. We had a nice area to lie out in the sun, and a kitchen to make tea, coffee, etc. The location was by the airport but there was no noise or commotion (it isn't exactly a major busy airport!). Previous reviews mention how it was hard to find but they have constructed a new boardwalk and entry that brings you directly to the boat. The showers and other toilets are located a couple of minutes away but they are amazing - huge private showers with some amenities like hairdryers, and also security guarded.

The yacht is currently surrounded by building work as they’re extending the marina, so it was noisy from 8am and throughout the day. We had the wheel room with private balcony but there wasn’t any privacy as the balcony was facing the building work with all the workers right in front of us. There was no Marina view with this room. This was only at the back of the yacht where the owners were sat for most of the day, and we didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there with them. The bed in the wheel room was very small so our feet overhung the bed and was also very high. There is little respite from the heat as the room only had a small rotating tower fan which wasn’t adequate enough. Because of this we had very little sleep during our stay. The worst thing for us was that there were no external locks on any of the rooms, so we were unable to secure our belongings when we left the room. There is a safe onboard in the owners berth which we were told we could use, but we felt we had to keep our passports with us as we’d have to keep asking the owners to access them. The doors to the rooms can be locked from the inside though. There are no curtains in the wheel room so during our stay it was very light until late, which also made sleep difficult if going to bed before 10pm. Overall we felt this accommodation was overpriced.

The yacht is quirky which we love and is in a great location, being in the Ocean Village Marina. very close to shops, restaurants, bars and Casemate Square. it’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the airport (over the airport runway) There is a Tesco supermarket a few minutes walk away. Tea, coffee, milk and water are provided for free. You have access to utensils and a shared fridge to store food. The shower facilities in the shower block were very good and spacious.

Mosquitos were quite troublesome, and we had difficulty finding the place because of works on the quay blocking access. This is obviously only a temporary issue

The exterior seating areas onboard were very comfortable and afforded lovely views over the marina. Very close to all the amenities. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance.
