We really enjoyed our stay at Kololi Beach resort. The rooms and beds were comfortable and it had a beautiful balcony. The area is very lovely with a short walk down to the restaurant right on the beach. The restaurant serves really nice food and we spent some time at the pool. The location is right next to the strip where you can visit many shops and restaurants. The people working here are very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place!

- Cockroach in the room - The resort is a members club first and a hotel second, so you'll be a second class citizen the whole time - Cleaning staff came to solicit tips on my first day there and then never cleaned the room during the stay even though they were supposed to for my stay duration - Beach and pools get blocked by towels early so the resort areas are basically empty but there is nowhere to sit. - Even though I got a late checkout, cleaning staff kept bothering me every few hours - Loud music from nearby bar until 4-5 am - [Not hotel's fault] Power blackouts inconvenient while showering

- Location is excellent for Senegambia strip - Beach access is nice and you can see wildlife right on the premises - Reception staff were very friendly

For the future adding more details on the location of the rooms will be helpful. Consider indicating clearly which rooms have ocean view and specify the bed and breakfast option. I did not know about the classification (Stone, spring etc.)This is not clear on the website. The sound from neighboring businesses was not expected finally good to replenish soaps without request and add shampoos conditioners in your package. Thank you

The look and feel of the resort was very relaxing. The beach front bar and restaurant were great too. Easy walking distance to the Bars, Restaurants and Clubs on the Strip. An easy one to recommend.

We didn't like the staff. Whenever we had a question, they didn't seem to be happy to help us.

We liked that the hotel was in the middle of Senegambia with lots of bars and clubs.

One of the most problematic issues with this resort has to be the Wifi, many reviews were left regarding this and still nothing has been done. This doesn’t reflect on the staff but the owner/s of this resort need to ensure they provide a consistent and RELIABLE wifi services especially if you have foreign workers staying at your properties. The second biggest issue has to be cockroaches, it made my entire stay very uncomfortable. We had to purchase multiple bug sprays and we still continued to find them on BEDS, corners of the room, curtains and one even went inside my suitcase!!!! Again, this is in no way a reflection of the staff but this responsibility solely lies with the owner/s of this resort. Simple refurbishments and adjustments can easily make a huge difference. This has nothing to do with cleaning etc but very poor ventilation, gaps in walls, broken FRONT doors to the actual studio, gaps on the actual front doors! The room smelt of damp and toilet sewage, no ventilation in the bathroom. Gaps and mould around the back of the actual toilet itself. This is a beautiful location with beautiful beach side restaurants but it’s being let down by lack of management when it comes to bringing the standards up especially when you are in a competitive area with other resorts within similar price range!

The resort is located on the Serekunda Strip, which is the main hub for tourists. you get good restaurants and convenient transport to go further out if you wanted. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, very helpful and interactive.

Guests should have the option of bed & breakfast particularly for those who are not on leisure trip. Lack of intercom , poor Wi-Fi service & no Tv after a long day

The environment was good but it lacked intercom to reach the front office when there was a need to contact them particularly about the poor Wi-Fi. Breakfast was not part of the cost neither was there TV for those who traveled for work not leisure

The facility is too old. The air conditioner was not strong enough for the living room. Our first night was a nightmare due to lack of air conditioning. The bathrooms had a strong smell. The staff did their best to clean them, but they still had a strong stench. The hot water was terrible. It's hot one second and cold the next. Taking a shower was not a pleasant experience. We were in the Pen house, Spring 17. It wasn't worth the amount of money we spent.

The location was good and the staff were very friendly. The Facility engineer was very nice and helpful.

I’ve been to The Gambia before and Kololi Beach Resort is by far the best place I have stayed. Every member of the team were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning of the rooms was impeccable.

I arrived to the property late night as it was supposed and there was no one to receive me more than an security guard, who even didn't know where my room was. At my bath-room there were not any towels for me, and at the early morning when I searched for some people at the reception or any other satff to get me some towels, no one was there. I waited until 09:15 by the arrival to the reception staff and only then I could take my bath and prepare myself for the meetings I had already scheduled for the first hours. At my booking I asked for breakfast. At the hotel I realize that is not usual at that hotel and there was no one to serve the breakfast before 09-10am.
