Temperature in the room duing a hot summer. Other times of the year - probbably not a problem.

The room was nice and clean but it was quite hot. If we slept whit open windowes it was quiet during the night but not in the morning. The breakfast was very nice aswell and so was the location - walking distance to the area around the dome, the museum and Unter den Linden.

The hotel did not have air conditioning at all, and we were there in a hot time. Only for this reason we needed to shorten our stay from 3 nights to 1 night only, otherwise we would have stayed. It was impossible to sleep in those warm rooms.

The hotel was in an excellent location, near all the touristic points. The staff was excellent, very helpful, and always with a smile. Rooms were big and well equipped.

The shower was extremely small and difficult to use.

The room was a good size with chairs and a desk. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. The location was a 20 minute walk from the train station but it was close to the attractions we wanted to see. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. They made scrambled eggs and bacon special for us.

It has a bit of a soulless feel around Reception

This hotel has an excellent location well within walking distance of FredrickStrasse Rail Station with direct connections to Brandenburg Airport and around the city.

Staff mostly spoke German even if I asked to talk in English. The check-out procedure in the morning took ages (with the staff member leaving reception and coming back without a clear reason). I would not expect to spend 25 min for a checkout at 5 AM (given that room was already paid in advance).

I only stayed one short night (booking last minute after the flight canellation), so I did not have time to explore much about the hotel or my room. However, the location was good as I was looking for something closer to the station, and room was clean with all the minimum necessary facilities available (such as shampoos, hair dryer, etc., but I did not need much, e.g., iron, so, I cant comment on that). Since I was leaving very early in the morning, I also did not try breakfast. But overall seemed a decent hotel in a good location.

The one and only down side was the price: with regard to paid accommodation, Berlin has become quite brutally expensive.

The hotel was comfortable and excellently located in relation to the Altstadt/ ex-East Berlin City Centre (Spree Museuminsel, Unter den Linden, Alex, etc., as well as Scheunen- and Spandauviertel). My request I receive rooms on the top floor was automatically fulfilled. With the additional room containing armchairs and TV, there was a feeling of spaceousness untypical of most hotels. They guaranteed ideal peace and tranquility.
