Beautiful Above Blue Villa had enough room for a small family or two couples. we had only two of us and loved the two bedrooms and two baths. sauna was nice and weather was a little too cool to stay in small pool. awesome location and the greatest of staff! cannot recommend enough. lots of stairs and walkways up and down for older folks maybe a little difficult. we are 71 and 73 and we had no problem. close to great restaurants and able to walk to Fira. awesome trip!

The hot tub wasn't super hot but it was still nice. Depending on your room type, it may not also be the most private, but that is the case with a lot of places in Santorini. Schedule your breakfast early since they have set times so if you can pick first you'll have the most flexibility.

Beautiful views of the caldera and an excellent location await you at Above Blue. Perfect place to watch the sunset from your balcony or hot tub. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. You preselect what you want and they deliver it to your room at a set time. Cannot recommend it enough.

We liked the place a lot, but have some observations for the time of year we were there. In March, many stores, restaurants and hotels are not open in Imerovigli (or anywhere in Santorini), so we used our car heavily. That worked for us because we do not love crowds, but it's something to consider. I would also note that the ensuite hot tub in Lagoon means the room smells like chorine, at least in the time of year when you keep windows closed.

Above Blue is in a great location in Imerovigli. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Maria was a gracious day host (arranged a rental car to be delivered and gave good off-season restaurant recommendations), and the breakfast room service every day was great - a number of menu choices and high quality. Perfect views of the setting sun over the caldera from both our rooms, Moonlit and Lagoon. Both those suites are toward the upper part of the hotel, and easily accessed from the street.

Comfortable, spacious room with outdoor area overlooking the sea. Truly spectacular view of the island and caldera. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delivered to our room and we were able to eat outside on our private deck. We came in the off-season (March) which meant the price was quite reasonable. The location is spectacular for views but you need a car (or taxi) to get there. We walked into Fira in about 20 minutes though return trip takes longer because it's uphill. (Everything is on a hill in Santorini!) We would absolutely return here!

Stayed for 3 nights at the property. The front desk staff (Pablos and Alex) were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They took good care of us. Breakfast was 'made to order' - we selected individually from a list of options that were delivered to our rooms at the selected time. Rooms were cleaned everyday as well. Since it was off-season, we had the resort almost to ourselves. The rooms face the caldera and the sunset was visible right from there.

Breakfast was phenomenal! Made sure to tip the gentlemen delivering these huge breakfast trays up and down many stairs and always with a smile! Staff was beyond helpful coordinating airport transfers and a quad to travel the island. Thank you for helping make our anniversary beyond memorable!!

The swimming pool is not a heated one. So, if you book this hotel during the winter season there is no chance that you could use the pool because the water is freezing cold!

I would appreciate the ability to control the hot tub temperature, although I consider this more as an enhancement rather than a significant drawback.

The only thing i wished for was that the hot tub water was warmer. & just missing a place to hang wet towels, swimmers etc
