Great room great view best pool we have had on any of our stays abroad

Food would require more passion to make it perfect and up for 5 stars. Good in general, but we were missing the “local Greek taverna experience”

Apart from all 10 points above, I must say that fitness room is just wonderful, clean, spacious, with all necessary equipment. Service was excellent. Upon late arrival staff took care and left us some sandwiches in the fridge. Also, because of our honeymoon, we found a fruit basket with champagne and honey desert. When I asked if they had softer pillows, as I felt my pillow was a bit too hard, they delivered to the room a soft and comfortable pillow for me straight away. Overall, everything was just perfect: cleaning, service, beach. I don’t think you need more for a perfect and relaxing vacation. We will come again! Thank you!!!

The pool was cold but it’s expected in November!

This is our second time staying at Amira hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are so professional and so friendly. Our room was gorgeous, beautiful views. Our cleaner worked hard and was so lovely too. The pool is wonderful, so clean. The beach service and towel service is great. The life guard is brilliant too. Everyone’s taste is catered for at breakfast. This is a special place that we were so so sad to leave.

As mentioned, they have a great potential to become a luxury 5* resort, but need to pay attention to some details. We stayed in Junior Suite sea front (121) and we booked double bed, however we got 2 single beds and at night time, of course two single beds were sliding away from each other :)) We were very surprised that there is no hair conditioner, during the shower, water somehow (probably due to bad seal) was getting into toilet area, so floor was always wet there. Also in our room curtains must be replaced (due to some black oily spots). We did highlighted all issues during the checkout, and of course, the manager said that we should let them know straight away and this could be easely fixed for us. We do appreciate that, however during the vacation no one want to waste them time and energy on complains. Most people simply want to enjoy the vacation. :) However, we wish to Amira Luxury Resort best of luck in the future!

The friendliness of the hotel staff! The room always very clean and tidy. The breakfast and dinner buffet exceptional, especially desserts. It is a brand new resort and of course they have a great potential to become a luxury resort, just need to pay more attention to details. Based on our experience, I would say it is a very, very good 4* star hotel. However, we had a very nice stay and we did enjoy Greek hospitality very much. We love Greece and Greek people!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The locations is amazing, right on the sea front. And the pools (inside and out) were gorgeous. Very clean and a great breakfast. Would recommend!

Very stony Beach not much nice sand

The only thing we felt could be improved on is the privacy on the room balconies, possibly with frosted glass screens.

If I try hard to find fault it was the pool. Although the hotel has an incredible pool, unless you are not up for breakfast by 8 and by the pool by latest 9.. you won’t find a bed! We sat by the beach and walked up to the pool. Which was ok for us… but if you don’t like being by the beach make sure to have an early start otherwise you won’t find a place by the pool…. The food in the main hotel was ok. I expected better quality but all in all was fine.

A great 5star hotel. We had a room with a pool and sea view. Room was very comfortable. The staff were incredible from Luiza who greeted us with a warm smile and explained all hotel amenities and always on hand to recommend places to see, to the bell boy who was gracious and smiling to the waiters in the main restaurant and Kritimero.. Manos, Charoula and Christos. The beach is gorgeous. It’s quite rocky to get in but doable with shoes. The guys around the pool were so charming and helpful getting us beds. The hotel and surroundings are immaculate. You get access to an app. So when sitting by the pool or beach you can order food and drinks and it arrives with in minutes.. with a smile and “enjoy” 😊 We hired a car which was a blessing as weather was not great so being quite central, within 50 minutes we drove to the south of the island which was incredible. The cocktails in the bars were amazing and the evening light entertainment was very enjoyable. The 2 in-house restaurants were amazing… We ate twice in Kritamo and once in Almyra. slightly expensive but worth every penny😊

The sun didn’t come to our private pool until the end of the day so we didn’t make use of it- not too much of a problem as we were fine by the main pool.

The room was so comfortable and well equipped with modern features. Huge comfortable bed, sea view, spacious. We really loved the communal pool and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Upgraded to a beautiful suite. Close to Rethymno which is a beautiful old town.

The pool towel rules were inconvenient and unusual for a hotel of this ranking. The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable and the linen was scratchy such a pity as the Asthetics of the room were beautiful

People placing towels, etc, over the balcony, brings down the tone of the place. Reserving pool seats by placing towels on them as amrk of rawrvation and walking away. Dresses code in restaraunts not enforced.

One thing.. which would actually stop us returning here is the code start thudding of dance music throughout the day. You couldn’t sit on the balcony or the beach without hearing the thud. It was so irritating and ruined a couple of days holiday for us. We couldn’t even watch the sunset in quiet. The hotel tagline is serenity is by the sea. Erm not at this hotel. It is such a shame because it was by far our favourite hotel but we couldn’t get any peace of quiet.

Nothing. The only thing we could pissibly fault is the location. Few restaurants in the neighbourhood but the food in the hotel was very good so it did not matter.

We had absolutely perfect time. The hotel is practically brand new and it really shows. The pool and the beach are very nice and well equipped, the sea is clean and refreshing. We had HF and I really recommend it, because the dishes are so good, especially the sweet dishes - they are heavenly.

Two small things: parking not in the same building and no sand on the beach. But can be neglected since everything else was amazing.

This hotel is a jewel - one of the best hotels that we have visited so far. Almost everything has been taken care to perfection. New hotel, nicely designed rooms, great food, amazing staff, good location. We always go in five star hotels, but this one is one the upper class if the five star hotels.
