We stayed in the studio and you could hear everything from the neighbours and the road traffic through the thin walls. The shower was very small.

The yard and the entire complex are very beautiful and clean, and the pool is really nice. The bar was open in the morning so we could buy coffee there. The staff was nice and the room was clean, and we appreciated the small terrace in front of the studio. Comfortable bed. Friendly cats around too :)

The bathroom was a bit small and the shower too. The residence is difficult to reach for the fist time because the position is not properly marked and reported nor on the road and on Google Maps. Once you learn its position the problem disappears but one or two signals to help won't do bad!

Great structure, really appreciated the little terrace under the mill. Large for two people, in particular the bedroom. The kitchen had the essentials to cook basic meals. The position Is good because you can reach every famous beach of the coast whitin 30-40 mins ( the furthest is Elaphonisi with and affordable 1 hour by car). But the thing we loved the most was the company of a Little cat ( that we named Mylos but who knows) who loved napping on our terrace and asking for cuddles and food. If you see him or any other cat please be kind, they are very friendly. We will miss u Mylos.

The Room that was supposed to be suitable for 4 was a bit too small (enough for 3 I would say), only 1 electric socket in the parents room and it didn’t work. The shower hard to operate, the staff is very nice but very poor English so hard to communicate the issues. Best to write messages through booking or WhatsApp to Dimitra and she’l help.

The room was clean, the terrace was very nice, the crew was hospitable, and it’s 5 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach that was clean and quiet. And such cute and child friendly pool!!

Nice apartment in a good location near the main road. The apartment was a little tight for our family of 4, would be suitable for couples or families with young children. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time there. Location is very convenient for shorter drives to the beaches on the west side of the island. Excursions are offered, you should inquire before arrival so you can make reservations in advance. It is a nice quiet place to stay just minutes from Kissamos where you can go for dining or groceries.

Rooms at the top of the pool are close to road so can hear the traffic at night but with bathroom window closed we slept no problem. Rooms/apartments further down wouldn't have an issue.

Great location, very affordable price, large room with kitchen facilities, high pressure shower and pool. Owner is also friendly and accommodating, no issue with late check-in and early checkout.

The staff did not see our booking, so there was no-one around when we arrived. There was only a phone to call the owner, who came to give us the key. He pointed to our windmill then left. There was no-one at the bar, and no restaurant/ food available for dinner or breakfast. Another guest told me we had to drive to Kissamos to eat. Everything in the apartment worked well but the shower was too small for us to use. No coffee or Teabags.

Quiet and very clean, a unique place to stay. It was lovely to sit on the windmill's terrace in the evening. WiFi was good. There was a hob, a fridge and a kettle in the kitchen area and a sink with washing up liquid.

a very cool place to stay in, located in the middle of olive groves, quite. staff was very help full. the kids liked the adventure of staying in a windmill. very close to kisamoss and the beaches. if you're planning to go to baloss take a cruise don't drive there.

A bit outdated room, but very clean. The pool surface was a bit rough and we all got small scratches.

Location is perfect, ideal to explore the west Crete. We stayed just one night and we really enjoyed the night at the terrace of our room. Pool was big and clean and kids had a great time. Very clean generally, in the room and the premises.

Staying in apartments we could use only the main pool, as other pools were next to windmills accomodation and for their exclusive use and beds were not as comfy, but that didn't really matter much, the overall experience was great

Very authentic and memorable experience to stay in this old windmill village - the area in the country side is surrounded by trees where crickets sing all day, strawberry bushes around the village another lovely touch. The main pool is lovely for kids and adults, and used only by few staying families, and that is hard to find during high tourism season. Great views from the terrace. It is about 5 min drive from Kissamos village and its beaches. We stayed for two nights while visiting Balos and Elafonisi and really enjoyed it.

We were on the ground floor and left some towels to dry out on the provided racks. When we woke up they were even more wet then when we left them. We are assuming it was from their sprinkler system. No fault of anyone's but if I had to say something I did not like that would be it since we were hoping for dry towels in the morning as we were heading to balos for the day. Not a big deal and definitely not a deal breaker. Our mistake I guess.

Quick check in and out, room was very clean. Staff were super helpful and kind. Parking was right outside our door. Hassle free and easy. Price was fair and couldn't ask or expect more although I'm sure the staff would have done their best to accommodate if we needed something more.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I decided to sleep on the couch bed because the mattress was a little bit softer. There was only a little closet/wardrobe with some hangers for a few dresses but no shelves nor drawers. I had to keep the suitcase open on the floor of the living room because there was nowhere to put the clothes. The bathroom was extremely small.

The village with its windmills looks so beautiful. The staff was really nice and friendly. We had a very nice dinner with meat, potatoes and zucchini cooked in a wooden stove and on the grill. And, of course, a lot of delicious Greek salad. The pool is really nice and open at all hours.

Ensuite bathroom was rather cramped (because of the round building!) so we barely used it. Not many amenities within walking distance, though not a particular problem as we had the car.

The bed was really uncomfortable for us. I like a firm mattress, but this was quite bad. We didn’t sleep well and left with bad backs and hips.

There was no breakfast or vegetarian diner possible. There were not enough guests to keep a full kitchen running (they only open from may). BUT that was neglectible ! There were enough places to go to in the area and they compensated greatly with their kindness and some coffee and drinks on the house!

A nice and quiet place with much authenticity and away from big touristic centers although close to them. Ideal place to calm down and enjoy a pieceful stay. Maria also helped me to find some tours and gave me info when needed. The owner is also a very nice and kind man and nice to talk to. He is very passionate about Crete, fishing and his hotels. I felt at home in this georgious place. The room was basic but clean and the cleaning lady left me strawberry's!

The hotel is exceptional. The location is perfect, not in the crowd, and close to everything. There is a big parking so it's perfect for travelling by car. We had a room with a sea view, a great terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner watching gorgeous mountains and beautiful sea. The room has everything needed for cooking and resting. It's also perfect for travelling with kids as we had a personal playground for only our kid. It's near a beautiful pool that is available for usage. The territory of the hotel is really amazing. We're delighted with the best staff and we found more than we could imagine. Highly recommended! We're beyond grateful 🙏
