It was a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants, not a big issue for for us. A few tea and coffee sachets would have been welcomed.

We like all about the place. It was our fourth stay and we're sure to come again. Mira is a gem and Sahra and Yannis who manage the place from Rethymno are always ready to help with advice if needed. The modern apartments are furnished very well, the beds are comfortable, and the location is very quiet and a few minutes walk from the beach. We couldn't ask for more.

The warm water took at least 5 minutes to come in the shower. But probably they fixed it now. The terrace was clean but full of small fruits from the tree.

I was fully satisfied.

Location- the sea is and the beach is only 4 minutes away. Rethymno is also 30 minutes by car. The room was spacious and you can have nice breakfasts on the balcony. The stuff is extremely kind. I had a job interview that lasted one hour longer than the official check out time. They assured me that I can stay, as this is something important. The pool itself is not too big, but still the rooftop where the pool is located has really nice vibes and a view and comfy seats.

It was not possible to have total darkness in the room. the swimming pool is very small and shallow, good for the kids unlike the area sourranding that (holes in the wall, on the deck, not safe for kids). We got unlicky with the weather and it was too windy, so the deck swimming pool was not cleaned from leaves/insects. The room at night was very loud because of the wind, partly due to the toilet ventilation system. They didn't clean our room on the second night, which we expected since it's not mentioned anywhere that cleaning service is not daily (I think).

The apartment was really nice, clean and faithful to the pictures. It had also a terrace with table and bench, where it was nice to have breakfast. Staff was also nice and available to give us advice on the area or fulfill our needs. The location was good - 5 mins walking to the center with many restaurants shops bars and the main central beach, and 5 to 10 minute drive to clear water wonderful beaches (eg, Souda, Damnonj, good value for money

Excellent property, set over 3 floors, just a 5 minute walk from the sea front. We had our own small private pool but unfortunately it was a bit cool to use to use (early April). The apartment has seating by the pool, a small terrace on the first floor and a large roof terrace all with great views of the mountains and the gorge. We had everything we needed for our 3 day stay and could have stayed longer. A perfect place for a couple in Plakias.

The people who run these apartments have an idea for detail. The rooms and fittings are so nicely done. Lovely balconies and a feeling of calm and openness around the building. Incredible value for the price we paid in off season. The staff/manageress was very welcoming. Thoroughly recommended

We suggest it would be good to have just a few basic supplies for the first night and a lighter for the candles.

The space was very comfortable and we had almost everything we needed. We enjoyed morning breakfast on the little balcony with sunshine and mountain view. A huge thank you to Mira. She was very helpful and kind.

We were allocated to an apartment with it’s own garden of wonderful fruit trees & sitting areas that was very peaceful. A special mention goes to Mia who did an absolutely magnificent room service job. We also met the owners who were friendly & interested in our well-being. We enjoyed staying at Anna-Plakias & will definitely be returning.

Beautiful scenery and view, perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the main area, such a modern chic interior especially the pool area rooftop which was very pretty I was in love! I highly recommend you staying at this apartment if you're in Plakias, if you get the room with the mountain view its a bonus. Everything is nearby, easily accessible.

Nothing really, but we didn't see the owner during the stay. The key was left for pickup so it wasn't really an issue.

The room was enormous with a large bathroom, a sofa, dining table and a decent sized balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped and even included a filter coffee machine. The rooftop pool was an added bonus too!

When we cooked a 'proper' meal we found that the equipment provided was only just adequate, but in warmer weather you'd have everything you need to put together light meals.

The apartment was everything we hoped for - beautifully designed and maintained, and in an excellent location. Mira, the cleaner was very kind and helpful (even hosing down our hire car for us after some Saharan sand laden rain!), and the owners kept in touch before and during our stay. The weather (in April) was not hot enough for us to use the pool, but it was still lovely to look out on and to sit by. The bluetooth friendly stereo system was a welcome bonus in the living room, and both bathrooms had good showers.

The swimming pool was too shallow to swim (not mentioned on Booking.com & website says you can enjoy your swim in the pool), but also had a nasty taste/smell and hurt our eyes any time of day I visited. The management assured me that it was safe and normal but I have never been in a pool with such excessive amounts of chemicals (nothing to do with covid). Also the wall near the swimming pool (and some balconies) had large openings at low level that a child could easily fall through, a potential death trap as it on the roof. The pool area is great for relaxing but look out if you have young children.

Our 1 bed apartment was amazing. A great size, clean and fully equipped with an outdoor seating area/garden. The whole property is clean and well kept and the cleaning lady was so friendly and helpful. THANK YOU!!
