The nearby street is not that lively at night. There are many shops and restaurants, but they are dispersed along the road, so you need to walk quite a bit to reach them. You have to cross the main road and pass another venue to get to the beach.

The rooms were adequately sized and have a balcony. The place is reasonably quiet at night. The swimming pool area is nice. There is a surfing school "Surfing Crete" close by.

Amazing location. Quiet but a short walk to restaurants. A 15 minute bus ride to Chaina. Towels and bedding changed every 2 days. Toiletries provided. Bins changed every day.

Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful in all possible ways with kitchen matters, furniture, transports, acquiring tickets, getting local information etc. Very good apartments with disposition and location. Very good cleaning, barbecue on the pool level. Close to shopping and transports but at same time not disturbed by sound.

Everything was perfect!

We arrived after midnight but the owners where there to welcome you and explain everything about the room. The room was super clean, with daily maid service and it was ideal for our needs. Every evening you could enjoy the sunset and the beautiful colors in the sky from the balcony (which has pool view also). The pool is big and clean. There is a bar which serves delicious food. The Wifi works really well, throughout the complex. Special thanks to Nikos and Kostas for being such kind and wonderful hosts, for doing anything they can to make my stay such a wonderful experience. See you next year!!!

Unexpected beautiful hotel. The owners are really trying to make your stay comfort. They upgrade us to a suite which has large balcony with pool view. The location of the hotel is unique since it is 50 meters away from the noisy street, but close to all the super markets and restaurants of the area. The beach is just 100 meters away. The breakfast was served from 8 to 10 in the morning and it was delicious. The Wi-Fi was really good for a 2 star hotel. Definitely will go back if I visit Chania again!

For breakfast (8-10 a. m.) there was enough variety of food for everyone: eggs prepared in three different ways - fried, scrambled in a roll, boiled -, small sausages, croissants and sweet pastries, toast, three types of bread, fruits (pineapple, bananas, apricots, watermelon ... ), olives (green and kalamata), milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, water, yoghurt, cheese, ham, feta cheese, cereals (mixed, corn flakes, chocolate balls), butter, marmalade, honey ... I hope I didin forget something You have to take a trip to Balos lagoon (alone or take a boat trip together with visit of Gramvousa island - cost 40 €/person with bus transfer to harbour Kissamos) and (evening) visit the old part of city Chania (local bus from Stalos costs you around 1,6-1,7 €). Near our accomodation you have a variety of restaurants and bars - we have chosen for Maria's restaurant - https://www.mariasrestaurantstalos.gr/ - top food, very reasonable prices, nice personnel, we had to wait a little longer for food and service than we are used to, but since we were on vacation and we were in no hurry, that was really no big issue for us.

Artemis is more than a 2 star hotel. The atmosphere of the place was great. There was fast WiFi everywhere. The breakfast was really nice. The guys who run the place are fantastic.

We had a large, very clean apartment at this lovely family run establishment. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it had a warm atmosphere. The pool was great to relax by and you could get drinks and snacks all day. It is also just across the road from the beach and very near a good choice of restaurants. The bus to Chania leaves nearby too.

Artemis was more than we were expecting. The room was big, comfort and really clean. The breakfast which was delicious had enough variety of food. The owners Nikos and Kostas were really nice with us, always there to help us with anything we need. The pool was amazing with a nice bar serving tasting food and drinks. We had a two room apartment and the air conditioner was only in the living room, so at some nights the bedroom was too hot to sleep in. Would recommend a second air conditioner for bedrooms as we were staying at a suite.

We loved how welcoming and friendly the staff was. The barman Petros was always happy and talkative, gave us some complimentary drinks and snacks and occasional recommendations. The rooms and facilities were always perfectly clean. The location was just as we needed.
