There needed to be better communication. Not possible to drive to hotel and drop bags. That is ok but we needed to know that in advance, location of their partner parking and cost. Lot is only a few steps away but coming into town with no idea is not a good situation. Rooms were a little odd due to the very central location. They work with what they have and make it very nice. For us, because of tight stairs and our age not the best choice. Staff handles all the heavy lifting but still a little difficult. No big deal if a few years younger and location is great.

Central location with 2 restaurants as the feature. Comfortable clean room with extraordinary staff. Breakfast garden was special. Off site paid parking just steps away. Cost 27 Euro/day

The jaccuzi on the roof was not working, being repaired. No balcony to sit out on, but we did know that , its just nice to sit on a balcony, but that was not a huge problem.

The courtyard where breakfast was served was beautiful and a very relaxing location. I loved the long duration for breakfast - 08:30 - 11:30, allowed for lazy mornings when required The breakfast was excellent, huge and they catered beautifully for my gluten free needs. The gf bread was delicious. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Loved the farewell gift. Thank you.

I loved everything about it!

Everything! It is totally gorgeous with a perfect location, super spacious and comfortable with beautiful stone walls, wood ceiling, and fab bathroom. The huge Cretan breakfast in the magical garden is a feast. It is so wonderful to stay in a luxurious property that once belonged to a Venetian nobleman!

Great, except for our room. The bed was really hard, they had a mattress topper on it but it was broken down and useless. The location of the toilet to the bed was awful, you couldn’t open the door all the way and the pathway was really narrow as steps from the bathtub and the bed pitched the wall way.

Great location and all the staff was so nice and helpful. The daily breakfast was great too.

Right from the start the building, service and room exceeded our expectations. The accommodation also has its own restaurant next door which was excellent. Breakfast is served in the restaurant courtyard which had incredible gardens. Our host Nicholas was so helpful & accommodating. Without hesitation he helped us out with last minute car hire, at a price my previous research could not beat. Even arranged free transport to the hire car company, as we had large bags. Service & experience was faultless.

Can’t say anything bad about this place.

They upgraded our room, we got welcome drinks and food in one of there restaurants that are also very good! Room was amazing. Customer service was the best I’ve ever seen. They even gave us complementary water, wine, beer, and salad. They brought all of our luggage to our room. The breakfast is phenomenal and is a multiple course breakfast. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. If you don’t book here your missing out!

Our bathroom had no towel racks, and it had a weird smell after we showered, maybe the plumbing is old. No balcony for hanging our beach towels, swimsuits.

Perfect location, wonderful staff, got a free upgrade that included breakfast (which was delicious, and in the most beautiful courtyard). Very spacious room, great bed, beautiful decor everywhere in the hotel and restaurant.
