Due to old building, tall people over 1,85m need to be aware in the room for partly low ceiling.

Jackhammers woke us in the morning.

The location was great. It was a nice stay on the "island". They were working on the rocks so jackhammers woke us in the morning but the night was very quiet. The views from the city were spectacular. It got a little crowded in the morning with tourists from a cruise ship or bus tours but all in all a great experience.

This beautiful room was located in Monemvasia, easily accessible to everything we wanted to see. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and warm. The views were spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

Both check-in and check-out were handled expeditiously by a wonderful lady at the reception desk. Our room was exactly the way it was listed and had fantastic views from the balcony. The shower in the morning presented us with some challenging moments, as two floor drains had been covered (not sure why) which we realized a bit too late. Breakfast was offered downstairs in the café, which worked fine. Overall a very nice experience!

Monamvassia is a must see in Greece. Hotel Byzantino was a great place to stay. Centrally located in monamvassia and it was the easiest hotel to reach.

Stair access to the bedroom was tricky.

beds upstairs are quite noisy, which disturbed our nights for us who slept in 1st floor.

an exceptionnel location in a quiet and peaceful little corner at Monenvasia. the room is incredible, nice floor with different stones, a troglodyte style which as preserve the archeological style of this marvellous place. Top bed linen and decoration, simple and chic but very cosy.

The bathroom was very difficult to move in and out off,

Breakfast was good and the room we stayed in was very match in character with monemvasia. That is to say it was abut arduous using the bathroom and perhaps the room we were allocated was not suitable for the elderly(70 year olds) Apart from that we had a pleasant stay

The apartment is well-lit, clean and spacious; it offers a spectacular sea view. It is the perfect place to relax and re-charge. The staff is super friendly and the breakfast offers a great variety of traditional food. 10/10, would absolutely visit again!

The shower was a bit awkward in one of the rooms which is understood based on the ancient structure.

The location and view from the balcony and windows was amazing. The rooms offered historical preservation of the castle yet comfortable accommodation.

The parking is very difficult near Monemvasia so you have to carry your luggage for quite a distance. The breakfast was relatively simple and there were not enough space to sit outside.

We stayed in Byzantino hotel with our 2 kids for 2 nights in July 2022. The room we great as there was a different room for the parents and the kids. It has a lot of charm as we are staying inside the old city.
