The room could use an additional plug available but for the two nights we stayed none of that was necessary. Overall we regretted not staying longer.

We stayed in the bungalow, it was the epitome of glamping: it had rugs on the floor, hooks on the walls, a bed with sheets, pillows and blankets, a locked door, window, electricity to charge electronics and an electric kettle for tea in the morning as well as towels provided. The bathrooms were as close as the shore line and they had toilet paper and hot showers with plenty of room. There was also an available refrigerator for our bungalow but for people who prefer to cook there was a big shared kitchen with a fridge as well. At the end of our corridor there was a taverna open 8 AM - 4 PM. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, we had a great time!

3the time at camping elizabeth. This time i booked the camping tent,already set up with 2 single beds(with matrasses and electricity). Basic tent but perfect for a few nights or low-budget travelling. Like everytime friendly staff,quite near the beach and clean showers/toilets. Possebility to keep stuff in a fridge and Cook in the common-kitchen. Nice,cheap food and drinks at the taverna of camping elizabeth. Always nice to come back!

Everything you can imagine just simply works very well with your potential trip to there and your vacation there! -Quite close to the old city town where you can see an amazing Venetian castle and characteristic streets and very well protected old buildings. In this city center, you also may find really talented artisans for anything you can imagine, in top quality. The prices are reasonable as the sellers are. (35 min. walk, 10 min. by bus) -There is a supermarket and a bus station 3 min. away by walk. -You have many different tent options in the lovely camping place. You can go there with your own tent or rent a tent. If you go there with your own tent, you can also rent a fridge which you can put in or next to your tent or you can just rent an already set up tent which already has a fridge and really comfortable beds with a ventilator like a hotel room actually. Everything is organised very well and planned professionally as you will have a mosquito socket/tablet thing in your tent even. :)) I would highly recommend you to rent the beautiful canvas tent or a satisfying iglo tent. :) -There is a kitchen where you can cook whenever you want to. You have drinking water taps all around the camping place. In the kitchen, there is a fridge for free usage also and a water cooler tank where you always have free cold water. -There are two different toilet compounds in the west and the east margins of the camping place. Each compound has many toilets in it, therefore it is very comfortable to use a toilet. These compounds also have many shower cabins. Since the compounds are not directly next to the tents, nobody wakes you up when toilets are used. -There is a big time lovely taverna! :)) The taverna is just-right-next-to-the-beach. :)) Take a bite from your Souvlaki and jump in the water, come back and continue to eat. :) They cook everything fresh, however you like. The food is just delicious and the prices are perfectly suited, reasonable!

I had a wonderful stay here at camping Elizabeth. As a solo holiday I was a little anxious, and I was soon very much at ease. The photographs do not do the site enough justice. The atmosphere was very relaxed, I easy met people. The journey to the old town is only 20 minutes by bus, it is simple to reach. Lots of lovely shops and fantastic food. The tavernia at the campsite is great offering cheaper snacks to a lovely barbeque. The beach is amazing. Very few people, stunningly blue and right on the doorstep of the site.

It is an amazing little camping with very good vibes, right on the beach. It has a great, chill atmosphere, we spent some truly peaceful days there. We stayed at a caravan, it was small but equipped with everything we needed. We even got two sunbeds and a parasol, which we could take with us to the beach, which was very convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful, at the reception they helped with booking day trips, buying bus tickets, etc. The camping has a great tavern, we had the best food there during our stay. One night there was live music, another night they made bbq dinner. There are souvernir shops, supermarkets, cafés, and taverns in walking distance, and it is also quite easy to get to Rethymno. Altogether we loved the place, I truly wish we can go back one day!

We rented a bungalow, it had a comfy bed and all required facilities. The shower block was close enough and the beach was just couple of meters. Nice area to swim and plenty of water sport to choose from. The camping also has a taverna on site with all you can eat breakfast- although after myself and my husband had a breakfast there the prices went up 🤣 still affordable though. The dining experience is nice as well. Altogether worth the price.

Great location next to a very quiet stretch of unspoilt beach. There is plenty of shade and everything you need for the beach is provided. I loved the Taverna which serves excellent typical taverna food - very good value for money with beautiful views onto the beach... I often stayed there for hours! The staff are so friendly and helpful. A wonderful peaceful week in my caravan - can't wait to go back next year!

The noise of cicadas but they are everywhere in Greece in summer. You need to understand you're in nature and be ready to all kinds of visits.

The place is a paradise next to a large beach. It has all basic facilities and is perfect for camping. I stayed solo for a few nights and felt pretty safe. Taverna is very nice and the staff is friendly. I got there during the heat wave and even thought it was hot I felt well going to the beach which is 3-7 minutes walk. The WIFI is good as well especially in taverna. The local shops are 10 minutes walk and the bus stop is close. No need for taxi to Rethymno. I will be back for sure!

The only thing i could think of is maybe to renew the showers area, but its not dramatic.

Everything was absolutly amazing. Really close for the beach and Extremely quite. The canvas tent was really comfy. Food at the taverna was really good, and all staff was super nice. I came simply to eat well, work out, be in nature, meditate and overall chill time, and it definite met my expectancies. Top 5 best week of my life easily

One of the best camping sites in Crete, it’s like a little paradise of its own. It’s right on the beach, green space of beautiful nature all around, conveniently distant from the city. There are many options for your stay and all are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the Taverna has delicious food! Enjoy the sea, sun and hospitality Crete has to offer :)

I really love this place! There is so much nature, the staff is super nice and the food is delicious. I stayed in one of the bungalows. I also really like that you have your own sunbed and umbrella. I will definitely come back!
