Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing. I did venture out on bike but the local town was pretty sleepy (I did visit off season in October). but really, there is no need to leave!

DenmarkWe liked everything about the hotel. The town of Kolymbia is definitely nothing to travel for, but there are tours to other parts of the island readily available. Food is more than okay, but not as amazing as the rest of the experience.
Staff is extemely nice, the facilities and the feel of the place are amazing and everything is kept really clean. Beatiful location next to the cliffs. The hotel looks even better in real life than in the photos here. Absolutely perfect place to stay and just relax. We are used to go on active holidays and were a little anxious of staying one week in the same hotel with no plans whatsoever, but it was brilliant. Will be happy to return someday.

United KingdomLocation is a little strange. We ate at the hotel everyday as there isn’t a town/village nearby that you can walk to with nice hotels. That was fine when staying for 3nights but would have got a little boring if we were staying for longer.
Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff and amazing food. Loved having a private pool and the setting in amongst the hills is stunning!

IrelandWe stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, where the bathroom/jacuzzi was downstairs and the bed upstairs. I didn’t particularly like that set up and the seats downstairs were really uncomfortable so there was no place inside to comfortably lounge. The railing up to the room wasn’t a very secure set up and having to go up and down to the toilet was a pain. The breakfast was plentiful but a bit tasteless. There was a smell of sewage at times in our room too .
Casa cook is a zen beautiful hotel. The staff are so lovely. The location is beautiful and the vibe is hipster and chilled. The food in the restaurant for dinner was lovely and the nighttime dj was the perfect amount of entertainment . A new pool area is opened which was gorgeous.

United KingdomBeds were very firm. The location is a bit off, and taxis are rather pricey. Perfect if you like to stay at the hotel, not if you look to explore Rhodes without a rented car.
The food was amazing, and the room was fantastic. The staff was exceptionally accommodating.. Amenities at the hotel were great and plentiful.

United KingdomThe location wasn’t great as Kolymbia is mainly made up of all inclusive hotels so not many options for eating out at lunch/evening. We stayed at the hotel restaurant for evening meals for this reason so would have booked full board had we realised there was little choice in the area.
Stunning hotel and grounds, well looked after and really friendly staff The swim up rooms are incredible and so relaxing. The main pool and bar/restaurant areas are amazing and so nicely decorated.

United KingdomThe bed in the double rooms are twin beds pushed together which is kind of annoying but that's about it.
Everything, it's an amazing facility which has been improved and made even better since my last visit in 2020. The new pool area is incredible, as is the new spa. The staff are genuinely always happy to help. The food and drink is unreal. Even the air con was great. There is not much around the hotel, but you don't need there to be. Tsambika beach is cool and a hike up the Tsambika mountain is well worth it. A perfect resort if you're after relaxation.

The staff is what makes this hotel. If it was not for the staff Dimitri,Nicole,Kristina,Vasilis,Kosta,Melina, the rest of the staff and of course Chef Dimitri. I felt I was with friends I have travelled the world to some of the best hotels and restaurants as I am in the Food and Bev business and hands down by far best staff and the food... the quality was exceptional the taste was outstanding the portions were big. But the taste and the food itself was hands down the best Meat I have ever eaten in my life. Nothing disappointed me we stayed 10 days ate ever night dinner and breakfast. Dinner for me was the best part of our stay. Being in the Hospitatlity food Bev industry I have to say the Chef and Staff at CasaCookhotel Rhodes was the best experience i had at any hotel and Restaurant. We were only supposed to stay for 5 dayswe eneded up staying for 10 days and the only reason was the staff.. They make the Hotel.

Nice hotel with lovely staff, they offered us a great room. We stayed for one night so we did not really enjoy everything so for sure I'm coming back! We had to leave early to catch a ferry so they prepared some breakfast boxes for us! so sweet of them. We also got our welcoming drink in the lovely spa area.

SwedenThe only thing a can complain about was the food (especially the breakfast, withs was pretty bad in my opinion). The breakfast options was pretty limited - mostly contained of sweets (not so many health options). All food was ok but not great. It's good to know that this hotel is located in a very small town were there is pretty much nothing to do outside the hotel. If you want to go to Lindos or Old Town its about 25-35 min taxi drive. We spent a lot of money on taxi since we wanted to explore the island and have dinner outside the hotel some nights. As long as you're prepared for this, it's okay though!
The pool areas and the swim-up at the room is amazing! The hole hotel area is so beautiful (and big!). We got a really nice corner room whit mountain view and no visibility from other guests. All the staff are really nice and service minded. A special thanks to Costas at the restaurant who did an amazing job. Food and drinks are very affordable. Rooms are very cosy - but small.
