How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Excellent service, great location, perfect professionalism, caring, going for the extra mile receptionist, good value for money. Perfect for stop-over between Meteora and Athens. Loved the personal touch with home-made orange and pomegranate juice from their own garden.

This was beyond what we expected. Room was clean and very roomy. The host were very friendly and they took care that we are all good. View to the mountais were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

During our stay at the hotel, we found the owners to be very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is family-owned and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners speak English fluently, which made communication hassle-free. Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the furniture was outdated. We paid 90 euros for one night, but we didn't feel like it was a great value for money, as we have stayed in more modern accommodations in the Peloponnese for the same price. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking the hotel again, provided we could secure a lower rate.

There was nothing not to like! I was very pleased!
Very clean, very comfortable, all amenities were available, extremely friendly staff, helpful, lovely breakfast anything you asked for was done! Can highly recommend Hotel Dellis! Family run Hotel which was designed very thoughtful for the traveler!

Nothing bad to say here! They were excellent!
This is the best hotel in Greece! They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable! Very nice and polite with excellent service and I was sad to go so soon. They make you feel like family! I will definitely be coming back to stay here again!

clean, comfortable, fridge in room, breakfast was wonderful, bottled drinking water provided from hotel, great staff,helpful, chatty and cant do enough for you!! Quiet room and AC and balcony to sit out!!

The hotel seems to be a family business. The owner was present every day during our stay and made it incredibly comfortable. He organized the boat trip for us, borrowed us the beach towls and snorkeling equipment and in general made us feel very welcomed. He speaks several languages and was constantly greeting my boyfriend and myself in our native languages. I couldn’t recommend it enough! Really amazing place to spend your holiday in!

Outstanding family hotel. One of the best quality/price places I have stayed in Greece! Brand new. Great attention to details: spring water is used for teas and coffees, the choice of food for breakfast is not wide but everything is of the best quality! Both the hotel and our room were extremely clean! I recommend this hotel for families or anyone wanting to stay at Kamena Vourla. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, etc but at really quite road. The hoste was amazing and very welcoming

The beds were extremely comfortable and the location is great for walking to the beach and the main area for restaurants. It was nice to have breakfast included...love the yogurt, honey and eggs in Greece!

The hospitality of the owners was outstanding. Rooms clean and neat. Hotel has a lift and breakfast was nice. Recommendations from the owner Efthimios for local trips and food options were great. Thankyou for making our stay in Kamena Vourla memorable. Highly recommend.
