Staff was nice, we only stayed one day, but it was what we expected for the price, in the beginning of the season. Pool was cold, but expected, food was plentiful, had a short visit in the Sauna, which was a nice addition. Generally, even for a day, we felt ok.

We stayed at the angel villa . The place was perfect The all included was in the main building The food was ok but more like 2-3 stars hotel The stuff were excellent The view and atmosphere were amazing I would suggest the hotel to disconnect the villa from the food facility than the rate would be 10 A car is a must

The buffet lunch and dinner was very similar every night which we were only there for 5 days and was beginning to get boring. The activities like pool should be free, the table tennis had a 5 euro deposit but we didn't have cash so was hard to play and the tennis equipment was very battered and ruined. Also it was end of September but the pool was very cold. 1 bar for drinks I imagine gets very busy during peak times, thankfully not while we were there.

Just came back from 5 days at the hotel where we got engaged during the holiday. My partner and I really enjoyed the comfort of the bed and size of the bedroom, all the hotel facilities were tidy and clean. The hotel reception and restaurant have an incredilbe view and the staff were very friendly so check-in and out was very easy and quick. The food was all good quality except the ice cream, lovely fish options, really tasty pastry desserts and a variety of drinks.

The hotel is far from being a 5-star, even by Crete standards (I'd rather call it an average 4-star). Mediocre food and services. To make matters worse, our accommodation was not properly cleaned and there was noisy construction going on next to us (which apparently will take a while). The road uphill is dangerously narrow, and novice drivers are advised not to attempt it.

Being aocation without closed beach please have two minibuses to transport people to the beach... At least during the lunch

Excellent staff. The receptionist Rakina came to the door and greeted us when our taxi arrived and she was brilliant throughout. Waiting staff in the restaurant were always smiling with a great attitude. Very welcoming.Our cleaning lady was fantastic too. Quiet location on a valley surrounded by mountains. Views are amazing. Away from the crowds and natural. Pools were clean and big. Not crowded. Lots of sunbeds. Excellent value for the money we paid.

The food needs a bit of improvement and there was so many flies on the cold meats and salads. The food needs to be cooked with more seasoning, more interesting variety and covered so the flies cannot get to the food. We have already spoken with the hotel manager who is working on this already. There were not many staff available at the SPA and I was disappointed to find that the Jacuzzi and sauna was not free but we had to pay extra to use these. Maybe that needs to be looked at, perhaps offer this within some hotel packages for an extra cost. Staff need to be more available for customers who pop in the SPA area Generally the spa was very nice my husband had a nice treatment!

For me it was the friendliness of the staff that made the holiday most enjoyable. The room, balcony and hotel surroundings was nice.

The staff was very friendly; unfortunately, only 2 people from the staff spoke English, so communication was very difficult. The food was quite poor, not very diverse, and it repeated between lunch and dinner. The same breakfast was served every day. The pool bar had no snacks, only some leftover sandwiches from breakfast made with bread, ham, cheese, and mayonnaise. The drink selection was not varied; you could choose from a few cocktails (4-5) that looked and tasted the same.The food was very poor. Lots of vegetables, but only boiled with tons of dill or spices. No fish or seafood, only two types of meat for lunch and two types for dinner, sometimes the same two types.Breakfast repeated every day. The orange juice was warm, and when I asked for ice, the waiter smiled and disappeared. Not only did the food repeat daily, but it also repeated between lunch and dinner. The beach was very small and crowded. The beach was very far away, and the transfer to the beach was available only once per hour, from 9 am to 5 pm, so if you wanted to enjoy the beach after 5 pm, you had to take a private taxi (20 euros - 4 people) or walk 3.2 km. Furthermore, they had only one 8-seater car, so in the morning around 9-10 am, when everyone wanted to go to the beach, you had to wait for about 1 hour or maybe even more, and the same story happened at noon. We were a group of 9 people, and every time we went to or came back from the beach, we wasted about 2 hours. When I asked at the reception about a second car because we were already 9 people (8 seats in the car) and there were 10 more guests who needed transport, I received a very impolite response that I should wait since they were on vacation. Yes, it's true that they are on vacation, but it's not pleasant to wait for 1.5 or 2 hours in 40 degrees Celsius with scorching sun. There was nothing to do around because the hotel was located in the middle of nowhere, on top of a hill.

The meals were simple and repetitive , I didn't like the fact that we have to pay after the 11 o'clock for the drinks.

The staff was very kind, ,especially Regena ,Asef working at the reception. Vasillus,Vaggelis, working at the pool bar. The mountins and the pool scenary was incredible, Lovely place for chilling.

The Greek hospitality can't be fully achieved with partially Greek staff and foreigners not having that same friendly culture.

Price/quality - excellent. Tasty food, nice territory, picturesque mountains views, friendly staff. Compliment from the hotel upon arrival - a bottle of wine and fruits.

Food was often cold even when first brought out of kitchen and choice sometimes limited or repetitive e.g. fish fingers for lunch and evening meal most days. A car was needed to get from villa to hotel and beach which was not a problem but think this needs to be clear if booking Angel villa as there road to hotel has no lights or footpath and would be very dangerous to walk. I expect this would take about 30 mins to walk too.

No attention to details, everything is mediocre. We didn't have hot water in the shower at the first night, the wifi is OK. The alcohol at the bar (all included) is not good.

Good value for money (last minute reservation), the pools are good. Lunch was very nice, we had a balcony with mountaun view. The staff was very nice

I feel it would have been better to be closer to the beach. shuttle service from the hotel to the beach can be better. While the driver was very courteous I feel a more regular shuttle service would have compensated for the distance to the beach.

Very friendly staff. Regina at the front desk with her counterparts, Costa’s in the restaurant with the wonderful ever obliging chefs and the bar staff always courteous and obliging. Excellent room service. Food was very good variety considering we don’t eat meat / chicken.
