This place is excellent. the location is perfect to explore Meteora, either by car or foot, within minutes. the staff is the best part. the proprietors were awesome; they have such a great energy and took care of all of our needs and even my special dinner request. speaking of dinner, the associated tavern is excellent. the food was delicious, and even my Greek friend was really impressed. the room is modern and comfortable; the mattress is a bit soft but otherwise great. they don’t offer a full breakfast but has some fruit and pastries and coffee, which was a nice surprise for a place that doesn’t offer breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again and thank the owners and staff for a great stay.

I just finished my second stay at this small guesthouse, most recently for 5 nights (first time in 2021). In the small town of Kastraki right at the base of Meteora, most balconies will give you a view of the magnificent and peaceful scenery. WiFi is good, rooms have been recently renovated and are cleaned well every day, and free parking is beside the guesthouse. This is a family-owned guesthouse, with an adjacent restaurant - and everyone makes you feel extremely welcome. A small casual breakfast with plenty of coffee is available. I love this place. I had a car and used it as a base to see the monasteries of Meteora, but also other areas nearby.

An extraordinary view from our room of an amazing place - Meteora. Plus the restaurant attached to the hotel is the busiest and most famous in town. Staff knew us by name, and welcomed us in every way.

Boutique Holy Spirit Guesthouse is a modern well apportioned guest house very close to the Meteora stone columns. The view from our room was also super over the stone columns (not every room has this view) Breakfast was simple but excellent quality. To top it all the guesthouse is directly behind a lovely traditional taverna and the staff are so welcoming. Can't fault it !

Great location to visit the monasteries and a quiet place to avoid crowds in Kalambaka. The room is clean and well finished. Adjacent tavern is great and we enjoyed the food very much. Breakfast is simple but well prepared.

It was very loud from both being behind the restaurant and next to a church (bells go off regularly). I could also hear the people in the next room talking...and using their bathroom! That made me shy to use mine. 😬 As well as hearing everything going on in the office/reception area. Ear plugs are strongly recommended to nap or to sleep.

The family who owns this hotel and the restaurant (Taverna Gardenia was delicious) treated me with such kindness. It felt like family. The bed was extremely comfortable! Very nice decor. It's in a perfect location to see the surrounding sites. The tour recommended by Chris was well worth taking. I would stay here again.

Couldn't get the AC working (think they may not have turned it on yet for the year). So it got a bit toasty. But I was able to crack a window and it was fine

Room was cozy and comfortable Ample parking outside Easy check in and check out process Fantastic location near the main road through Meteora. They also provided maps and super helpful info about visiting the sites Included breakfast was simple but sufficient (especially as someone who prefers a lighter breakfast) Would also highly recommend the attached taverna owned by the same owners.

My one week stay at Holy Spirit Guesthouse was exactly what I needed. Nikos and Apollonis made me feel as if I were a guest in their own home. They were compassionate and attentive hosts. I slept better than I have in a long time. The bed was cozy and there were lots of soft pillows. I did not expect it, but there was a lovely breakfast in the morning with fresh bread and local pastries. It was a sacred, healing week at the Holy Spirit guest house. Thanks, Nikos, for sharing your story. Life is made up of so many different connections. I am blessed to have met you. My heart-felt regards to you and your family.

This boutique hotel is amazing! Super clean, beautiful rooms, awesome staff. The staff member Apostolis is probably the best hotel staff member in the country, giving you the best tips to explore Meteora and always making sure you have a nice stay. The Gardenia restaurant (from the hotel) is also very good. If we come back to visit Meteora, no doubt we will choose this hotel for our stay again.

The shower did not have a door, so the bathroom floor gets a little wet when taking a shower. The breakfast is minimal with tea, coffee, a piece of fruit and bread.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The view off the balcony was beautiful.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and even though I didn't have a breakfast included in my room they provide snacks and coffee in the morning that are enough to be a breakfast! The rooms are all they are showed as and I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Location is good (good view and close to the monasteries). Behind the property is the tavern gardenia which serves excellent food (salad, fried zucchini, sausage etc). What makes this place amazing is Nikos (boss) and his excellent staff. They are attentive and friendly. Thanks Nikos! We had an amazing time at your place.
