The cave suite apartments were beautiful - stylish, comfortable, like a little oasis with a sea view. It was super peaceful in the area. Staff were wonderful and smiley.

A little bit out of the way, a car is an absolute must if you want to check out anything on Crete. Internet is not up to 21st century standards.

Beautiful and well maintained holiday suites with multiple pools and exceptional views. Superb staff, generous breakfast and a good lunch/dinner restaurant if you are lazy to go somewhere else. Close to Heraklion city and airport and the Knossos palace.

The bad was the only thing which was "only" good. All the rest was amazing.

Pools were a little bit cold. Our room was small, but we had everything we need. But next time I will choose bigger one. Open shower is nice, but not very practical - water was everywhere after shower. Mattress was too soft for us. The location is not the best - views are great, but there are not so many highlights (nature, best beaches, monasteries etc.) around.

Really pretty hotel with comfortable sun beds. Food was really great and not expensive at all. Great staff, always smiling and welcoming. Atmosphere here was really nice and calm.

Well-located hotel with lovely views. Lots of pools to choose from. Room was comfortable and well-considered, with good amenities. Breakfast offered a good selection of buffet options as well as fresh juices, fruit salads and omelettes on request. They also offer massages - and I have to say Elizabeth was absolutely excellent - quite simply the best massages I've ever had!

I loved everything about this hotel and the suite that we staied at. When we arrived we got glasses of champagne as a welcome gift and found a bottle of wine at our suite with hand written note. The room was very clean and looked exactly as in the pictures. Our private pool was even bigger than it looked in the pictures. I would recommend this hotel and especially a suite with a private pool to everyone!

The Tub/Shower was hard to keep the water in from the shower head. I slipped and fell in the bathroom.

There was some mold in our bathroom as well as in the grout on the top level pool which made it less appealing than the bottom infinity pool. Sometimes there was a bit of disorganization, like when beach towels weren’t available but I was happy that the staff found solutions for it.

The people working there are the kindest people you’ll meet! They greet you by name, ask about your trip, and give great recommendations. There’s a personal touch at Happy Cretan Suites that makes it a really wonderful stay. It’s great value for money, and the pool on the bottom level is amazing. The gym is gorgeous and the breakfast is pretty decent.

We had an incredible stay at Happy Cretan Suites in Agia Pelagia, Crete. The suite with a private pool was simply stunning, providing a luxurious and relaxing experience. It's a perfect choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The hotel's location was nothing short of breathtaking, with mesmerizing views that allowed us to witness both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The proximity to Pelagia beach, just an 8-minute drive away, made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy a variety of dining options. One of the highlights of our stay was the convenient access to exciting excursions, including quad bike rides and sailing adventures, all arranged by the hotel, which even provided transfers for added ease and comfort. The service and hospitality we experienced at Happy Cretan Suites were exceptional, and we genuinely felt pampered throughout our stay. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Crete. Thank you for creating such a magical and memorable vacation for us! We can't wait to return.

The breakfast was average. No toast machine, limited egg options. Although the omelettes were good, I would have liked to have had poached eggs and pancakes available. The fried eggs are always too greasy. We always found something to eat but I have had much better buffet breakfasts elsewhere. The hotel is not accessible- so many steps and levels. If you are in a wheelchair or have any walking issues then avoid. Some reviews say that you can walk to Agia Pelagia from the hotel… I don’t know who these people are but they must be super human… the walk is too far in the Grecian heat and very very steep. You either need a car (we had one) or be prepared to taxi.

This hotel is beautiful and pristine. Very clean room and beautifully laid out and appointed pool areas. Never any question of looking for a cabana or sunbed. Maybe it was because we travelled in July before schools break up, but it never felt busy or overcrowded. The staff were courteous. There are several large pool areas which always had towels available. The bathrooms were nice and stylish. Overall we were very impressed. The hotel feels very ‘grown-up’. Out 14yr old daughters were old enough to fit in.
