The cost of transfer from airports on north west and east. It makes the holiday expensive.

I have been holidaying in Plakias many times. I love the people, weather and location. It ticks all the boxes.

A bit noisy from road traffic and easy to hear neighbouring residents talking or moving furniture which made you conscious of your own actions.

Friendly welcome, location and facilities as advertised, cleaning and linen changes unobtrusive but regular, helpful advice and information available if required/looked for, strong wifi all around the property, great water pressure, walkable distance from town and beaches, beautiful view from (upstairs) balcony (which would be a shady escape in hot months), beautifully kept secluded grounds and pool area.

Comfortable, friendly, very clean, nice balcony , good bar, very flexible owners , not too crowded, got personal service , bar prices very reasonable , allowed to occupy room until departure, good book drop , nice people in a great location. Cost of room rental very fair, free safe car parking on site .

It was all good nothing to dislike.

It's a very well appointed room. Above all else and very importantly the bed was super comfortable. It's also in a good location and parking is on site. They even had a bread knife always a good sign.

Travelled as a family with two teenage children so had two rooms for a very reasonable rate, which isn't always easy to find. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Location was great, next door to a supermarket so we could purchase our own breakfast and lunch items which we made up in our rooms. Bakery a short walk away too and the main town a ten minute walk. The beach was around 5 minutes away too. We enjoyed using the pool at the end of each day, which was clean and big enough. Plenty of sunloungers available. Daily house keeping was welcomed. Clean rooms, spacious and good bathroom.

Really cozy and clean place. Host and hostess were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was super tasty. Beaches, restaurants, super markets and climbing spots are really close.

The host is simply amazing. Lovely lady who took great care of us, prepared delicious meals and even found a way to pack our lunch to take with us to the beach! Any requests were always fulfilled, she and her family went beyond to make sure that we are happy and satisfied. I can recommend 110%

We had a really great stay at Irida Studios. Maria and her husband are really nice and helpful. The apartment is spacious, modern and really clean. We could reach everything within walking distance. We can’t wait to visit again

The place is on one of the main roads leading into Plakias so obviously traffic noise. Definitely bring earplugs if you are suseptible to noise. The kitchen lets this place down in my opinion. It looks tired. A rusty fridge (outside only), a kettle you need to keep your finger on the button so it boils and a broken lid which comes off in your hands, no cereal bowls, chipped mugs, etc. I have never met a more unfriendly, surly looking cleaning person in all my times in Crete. I would say Kalimera and at best she would mumble some response. Very unusual.

The owners are pet lovers so 10 out of 10 for that. One of the cats spent a whole evening snuggling up with me, watching TV. Lovely, freshly renovated bathroom. On the small side, but just fine for one. Great pool area, catching the sun all day which some guests did, I went to the beach which you can walk to. I had a car and was glad for it. Great supermarket and tavernas in the village.
