Being a traditional guesthouse, some of the facilities were a little dated. Nothing that would stop us staying there again.

The owners were amazing - they made our stay before and after climbing Mt Olympus comfortable. A beautiful breakfast was included.

Property is perfectly located for starting your walk from Litochoro to Prionia, and only 5-10 minute walk from restaurants and shops. Host and her daughter are so very kind and incredibly helpful.

If you want to live an authentic Greek experience, yet enjoy all modern facilities, then Kallisto is the place to go. It is actually a 350-year-old house, but perfectly renovated, preserving its old charm, while providing all modern facilities. You will have breakfast in style, in a salon with the original furniture of a well-to-do local family, and you will use fine cutlery from "la belle epoque," like in a five-star hotel. And if you want to hike on Mount Olympus, the entry to Enipeas Gorge is just at the end of the street. As for the host, you could not ask for more support in anything you need to know or do around. We will definitely return and we highly recommend it.

The only thing we could ask for is to have a hairdryer in the room.

As soon as I saw a picture of the Kallisto guesthouse, I new that I want to stay in there. It offered the spirit of the mountain house. The host Anna was friendly, welcoming. Homemade breakfast with jams, honey, cakes and omelet

There was a surcharge by the owner of €0.50 per night which I later discovered was already included in the final price quoted by Booking.com.

Our hostess was very polite and helpful, always providing us with ideas on where to visit plus giving us directions. Sophia was exceptional.

The interior is in the wood style and looks great. The atmosphere is authentic. I thank the owner of the place for the every evening with fireplace. It was so charming. The location is good for starting hikes using the E4 route or getting to the centre.

It's a nice quiet place to stay. It is beautifully decorated on the inside. The host was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and the location was good. There was also space to park. I'd definitely stay here again!

The shower was only a hand shower. It is only minor, the shower had great pressure but I would pressure it to be able to be connected to the wall.

The breakfast was great. They had homemade jam and very fresh bread. An omelette that was made fresh for me. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

Nothing to dislike. But if you’d like access to a kitchen area do ask. They forgot to explain this to us and it would have been nice to be able to make a hot drink in the evening.

Lots of character and sense of tradition. Our room was very comfortable and had a sweet little balcony. An unexpected and appreciated sense of privacy for two guests in separate beds. Also we’ll position for an evening stroll up to an impressive waterfall.
