Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

United KingdomThe bed was not comfortable as it the mattress was too hard but that was our preference. Also just some feedback but it would have been good to have a full length mirror somewhere in the bedroom or on the back of the bathroom door.
The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with excellent facilities and the air conditioning in two rooms was great.

BulgariaAt high- season all beached near by are very busy. Options for better are always with a car or boat to rent.
Extra clean apartment, almost brand new. Large and comfortable bed and mattresses. Bathroom also excellent. The towels were clanged every day , sheets every second day. Large refrigerator , air conditioners at every room but without any noise. New and modern oven and ceramic plot to cook. The yard is just above the sea and with a lot of space to relax and enjoy the magnificent view. Free parking as promised. Paleros is one of the most quiet places at high-season with very good options for restaurants and supermarkets.

Great place and lovely hosts. The place is spotless clean, lots of space for a family of three, great kitchen, AC, windows with electric blinds, a washing machine! Lovely gardens, and good parking space. There are two beaches nearby both about 10-15 mins walk. It had all you needed. The host was very quick at answering questions we had about local amenities.

The location is great, close to the city center and the port! You have great parcking space, and everything you need in the apartament! The AC is new and works great, the apartament also has a big balcony with great view to the Ionian see! A special thanks for the cleaning lady, she does an exceptional job every day! The best place I have stayed in GREECE! I strongly recomand KANELLOS LUXURY APARTAMENTS! ❤️❤️❤️great value gor the money!!!! We will definitely come back!
