Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe building is a bit rundown and could use some updates, but everything worked and it was clean.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the village and within walking distance to the Archaeological Site and Museum. The continental breakfast provided more than we anticipated and was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was quiet and we slept great. The outdoor patio has a fantastic view over the whole valley.

United StatesBreakfast was okay but not great. Breakfast ends at 10:00. We came at 9:30 and some items were tired. We need to park on the street, but that is the case for all the hotels in the area.
Lady at reception was friendly and excellent. They left great chocolate on the bed. Room was clean and comfortable. Some areas had a great view.

GreeceWe were traveling with a baby and a dog (a crowd) and we found the room a bit small for our requirements.
The terrace of the hotel is fantastic to say the least! The whole facility is very clean, the staff is very nice, and the location is perfect.

GermanyPleasantly renovated hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and likeable and fulfilled all our extra demands promptly (eg. asking for separate bed covers, leaving our suitcases for a few hours after check out). The view towards the seaside was lovely and we booked a family room for 4 where 2 separate double rooms are connected by a private corridor so kids feel close and safe but also everyone has privacy. Very close to the gorgeous archaeological site (10' walk) and the Mt Parnassos ski resort 40'drive).

United StatesNo shower curtain so you have to angle the shower head at a weird angle to shower. Even so, you still end up flooding the ground with a lot of water!
Location very close to the bus stop. Friendly staff! The lobby is connected to a restaurant which is convenient. Very large bathroom, probably the largest I had in Greece. Got the room with the view which was beautiful, though honestly, the town is full of great views, so not really necessary.

ChileThe hotel is a little dated and the room didn't quite look like what I expected from the photos online, but it was clean and comfortable. Outside of the archeological sites, there is not a lot else to do in Delphi though the view from the town is beautiful, there are good restaurants, and it's nice to walk around.
The hotel is well located in the main street of Delphi and easy enough walking distance to the archeological sites. It had a cute balcony, in my case, looking over the street, and block out blinds to keep out any noise. The bathroom was roomy and water was good. There are plenty of good restaurants very close by.

CanadaGreat location in the town. Finding street parking can be a bit tricky, but once you do it is very walkable to restaurants, shops and all the archeological sites. The breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable.

Location on one of the main streets, not far from the bust station. Some rooms and the terrace overlook the mountains and the sea (a truly beautiful view). Friendly staff. Clean room, comfortable bed. Cleaning service and clean towels every day. Nice bath tub, no problems with water. Small fridge, air conditioner, TV, hairdryer, electric kettle in the room. Bottled drinking water and tea bags provided. Really nice breakfasts.

IrelandIt's a bit dated in the bedrooms compared to the website photos if I'm honest. We only stayed from 5pm and were gone by 8.30am so it was just a quick trip.
The view was lovely and the lady who served us dinner in the evening was very pleasant.
