The property is well located. Easy to go all over the island from there. Close to the beach. Taki ans his mum Katerina are lovely friendly people , ready to help with advice on where to go and what to do. There’s a covered bbq area and small garden. Close to a supermarket, petrol station,bakery. Would come back and stay without hesitation.

Katerinas Rooms is a bit away from the very touristy places and therefore it was calm and relaxing. The bathroom war small, but (especially for such a low price) one of the most comfortable ones I had in greece so far (real shower stall and rainforest shower). The room had a spacious balcony and there were other nice places to sit outside as well. All was well kept and pretty. Although the host spoke no englisch (and I spoke no greek) I got a very heartfelt welcome and even some eggs from the owners chickens and desert from Zakynthos.

Set in a quiet area, beautiful surroundings, exactly what we hoped for. Takis and Katerina were so welcoming and helpful. Takis even drove us to the supermarket in his own car. Would recommend hiring a car. Will definitely return.

This Airbnb did set the standards really high! We got the two bedroom apartment which had a really spacious terrace, with absolutely everything you needed! Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and besides air conditioning/heating etc, we even had mosquito repellent plug-ins for each room. There is not a single thing that you would need and it's not in there! Furthermore, cleanliness was 11/10 and the most important aspect, the exceptional hospitality received from the start to finish! Even the outside had such a great touch, with different chairs, benches, tables and bbq, to ensure you have plenty of options to choose from in order to relax and enjoy. I cannot recommend this place enough! It has been fabulous, and if you are up for seeing the entire island like we did, guess what, every attraction is pretty much of a same distance from Katerina Rooms! Without any doubt I would choose this accommodation again! Many thanks Alicia & Laura

The owners are really friendly people, always available for questions. They surprised us with a home made cake, eggs and salad. The room is big, beds oke (little bit hard) and the location perfect. In the neighbourhood is a swimming pool you are allowed to use. Really nice appartement, would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent host. We loved it, Takis and his mother are great people who make your stay enjoyable. The previous comments are 100% real, we've experienced a very good time at their villa. The room was clean, clean sheets, towels etc. Takis mom provided us eggs for breakfast (twice) and homemade cake and they were excellent. We really thank you for our stay, we had a room with a perfect view. ευχαριστώ

Katerina Rooms is an enchanting place in Zakynthos. The welcome of its host, Takis, is fantastic. He gave to us wonderful advises about what to do and where to eat in his beautiful island. Katerina Room is perfectely located, just above Zakyntos city, close to the sea and a charming tiny port. From there, you can drive not that long to the north or to the south. All the equipments you need are in the room, lovely art decorated. We spent there three wonderful nights and could even met sweet Takis’s mother. If we go back someday to Zakynthos, we already know that it will be to Takis’s home ! Thank you for everything Takis 💫

Location: perfect calm place to come down and going north there are wonderful beaches! Also great restaurant near by. Price: incredible. Make sure to get the apartment with the view because it is just insanely beautiful (see picture). Apartment: equipped with everything that you need for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, cuttlery, plates, bowls…), working AC and good bathroom. Hosts: Both Katarina and Takis were amazing hosts. Friendly, courteous and most of all hospitable. We arrived and were greeted with an amazing sweet speciality and lots of recommendations and tips where to go and what to do. We even got fresh vegetables and fruits from Katerina - thanks again!!

A beautiful sea-sight view with comfortable room. The owner is very kind and thoughtful, he gave us cold water, fruits and traditional greek dessert as we arrived. If you want to visit Zakynthos this is the perfect place to stay, as it is close to every landmark that worth to visit. We will definietly come back!

There could have been a smaller bin inside, because going to the balcony to throw away garbage was a mosquito suicide. The tv was so small that it looked funny.

Katerina gave us a tasty dessert and fresh eggs. Both hosts were very kind. The apartment had everything you need.

The studio apartment was very nice, the exterior was very nicely decorated and the interior was comfortable. The host was very friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The location is very central. All in all, or stay here was very pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. My kids said the same.

A warm welcome at the gate on arrival from the owner Takis (I hope I spelled it right) , and a great explanation of local attractions to help us see all the island has to offer. The room was perfect and a pleasant surprise of fresh eggs and homemade dessert in the fridge and lemons and oranges picked from their own garden. It meant we had lovely fresh ingredients to make a delicious breakfast the next morning. The area is lovely and peaceful and in the evening we ate delicious food at a nearby restaurant called Armonia, recommended by Takis. We will return if we ever find ourselves on Zakynthos island again.

It was a great stay, the hosts are very friendly and warm. We’ve been given a map with the main attractions in Zante which was very helpful and even two beach towels :) they even surprised us with a breakfast in one of the days. Very good omellette by the way :) Super happy with the choice we made. 10/10

We were in Zakynthos for 8 days and we loved it! The room was very nice, clean and fully furnished, we never cooked in there but we could have with no problem. Also the room had a beautiful little terrace with a great view, perfect for breakfasts and relaxing after a day under the sun. The hosts are always around and they helped us with little arrangement issues like booking a taxi early in the morning to the airport, we also got lost on the day we arrived and the host was so kind and came to rescue us, we were five minutes away but would have probably never found our own way. We rented a scooter and visited the whole island, from there we easily reached all beaches in around 30/40 minutes and Zante town in around 20, so if you want to go around the island and explore every corner, this is for sure a convenient starting point. 100% would recommend Katerina Rooms, and hope to be back soon myself!
