The hotel complex is located a little outside, like almost all hotel complexes on Crete, so you can't just take a walk on the promenade or anything like that.

We has a very nice stay during Easter with great kids entertainment. Our son had a lot of fun playing soccer and at the mini disco with Ismael and Fabio. Ou son would like to come back just because of these 2 guys.

Some hotel facilities request serious investments to be up to latest standards for the modern resort.

Good staff, very friendly and they want to make your stay there nicest possible. You get what you expect, no bad surprises, but be realistic and do not expect luxury resort. Good ratio for the price you pay.

Very friendly, great facilities close to some great hiking spots, and Chania is only 20 minute drive. Hotel is set with two beautiful backdrops, the sea on one side and mountains on the other.

It would be nice if the outdoor pools for little kids were heated.

The property has two main areas, which both had restaurants, outdoor baths, kids clubs etc. The outdoor pools are not heated but this was compensated by a large and warm indoor pool. The hotel room was spacious. The restaurants offered a nice selection, the food varied a bit from day to day.

the disco party wasn’t as good as last year. New location bad spot for a disco (horrible bright spotlights and auditorium - so everyone watching! and too short - 30 minutes!). Disappointing because disco party was a major reason my kids wanted to return to this hotel. Also didnt like the quality of coffee (undrinkable), drinks and some of the food quality. Such a shame! Hotel/facilites/rooms=high end 4 star/luxury but food/drinks=low quality 2 star. … It doesn’t match.

The location and facilities are excellent for a family with young children.

The food at times was over cooked and the cleaning team took his time to come over even after specific request. The rooms were located next to the access road and it was noisy at times.

The kids club stuff was amazing, they played with the kids and really made a big difference for all. The reception team was great as well.

Some of the cleaning staff does not speak any English. This made communication with them difficult.

A lot of kids were left unattended, especially at meal time. I watch one child scoop I cream out of the self-serve freezer, lick the scoop, then go back for seconds. Also, the walls to our room were paper thin. Thankfully we only shared on wall. But our neighbors snoring kept me up most nights? That’s how easily you could hear your neighbors.

The resort was very kid friendly! My kids had a great time with the staff. They were so interactive and had tons of activities for the kids. The food was delicious and they had stuff even our picky kids would eat.

Our room was located at the edge of the resort and was, for the most part quiet. However, construction works at the adjoining site did start quite early in the morning. The pools were a little too cold for our kids but use of the indoor spa pool meant they didn't miss out.

Our room was the perfect size and allowed our teenage kids to have a degree of independence with our worry. Food was of a good quality and variety during our stay The kids club staff were excellent and our younger kids really enjoyed the activities.

The two tier all inclusive arrangement led to delays getting served drinks where the 'premium' customers ordered cocktails which took a while to prepare. This was by no means a big deal!

A really nice hotel complex, lovely pool areas and great access to the beach. Warm sea, shallow with soft sand. Great for the kids to swim in. Good location in a quiet rural setting and with excellent facilities for the kids. Good selection of food at the buffet. We had some really good meals. The animation team and kids club staff were excellent!

We had issues on arrival with that room being unclean. The staff were excellent and sorted it out immediately. We moved room and can’t fault it from there. There is nothing within walking distance. If you’re happy to just chill for the week it’s good. We had a car so explored a few days.

The new area of the hotel is lovely. Good pool facilities and nice buffet restaurant. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff.

Although the food exceeded expectations, it would be really good to see a vegan protein source at every meal (Beans, legumes, tofu, chickpeas etc). Pools: The pool water was really quite cold but you do acclimatise to it (The first day is chilly!) Spa: We would have loved to have used the Spa but it was VERY expensive in comparison to other local spa's and massages.

Had an excellent stay at Kiani with three adults and a 15 month old. There were some particular stand outs: Food: My wife and I are vegan and I am also Gluten Free. Naturally, this can often make food very difficult (especially in all inclusive). However, there were always some options in every day (Lots of carbs and veg, but occasionally kidney beans/chickpeas etc). What was the real stand out though, was that the Chef was more than happy to accomodate us and talk us through all of the vegan options in every meal. Additionally, he would make gluten free vegan pancakes every morning for us, GF cornflakes, and a GF vegan dessert at meal times. Almond milk and chocolate alpro soya was also available. This was hugely appreciated! (There is also an organic food shop in nearby Kalyves which sells tofu/oat milk etc). Staff: The staff at Kiani were incredible. Very accommodating and friendly and great with kids. The real stand out was Paola one of the members of the waiting staff. She was absolutely excellent with our son theo and we hope that management are aware of how great she is! Beach: Beach was lovely, water was great, always were sun beds available. Pools: With so many pools to choose from there was always a place you could get that wasn't too busy. Swim lanes were often free. Room: Family room was large, had all the amenities you might need and was very clean every day.
