All was good! Might be nice to have a TV, but it's not essential, we took a tablet and laptop for watching programs and that worked well for us.

Lovely apartment, it is split into two rooms which was helpful so our daughter had her own room. Nice pool and balcony with sea view, great location close to the sea and lots of tavernas. The manager Nick was extremely helpful helping with our questions and requests, and sorted out a hire car and airport transfers for us.

No instructions how to join as we were late arrivals - note your name is on a board outside, telling you your room number and the door of apartment is left open with key in side. We didn't know this and it took us an long time to find this in the dark with the help of another resident as no hotel employee on site after 5pm. There was no breakfast available as no one manned the small bar until after 10am and some days later. This didn't put us off as we ate down the road every day. The towels and bedding was only changed once in the week and as it was in the 30s most days a second change would have been good. Finally there was no room service daily as bins in bathroom was not emptied every day and on last day we had a cockroach but its a 2* accommodation and you pay for what you get - I would still come back as overall the place was quiet, friendly and clean.

Location is excellent. Pool is a nice size and is clean. Rooms are ample size with good size outdoor area. Rooms are quiet and the aircon is quiet and of good quality. towels and bedding were of good quality and the beds were OK (definitely had worse in and outside of UK) Small supply of tea, sugar and coffee as well as soap and toilet rolls in bathroom - airer and pegs also supplied. If you are expecting a fully serviced bar area with onsite help 24/7 then this place is not for you but if you prefer to be on your own, coming and going as you please, quiet friendly place then this is for you.

There was no reception. And very difficult to get in touch with management. We had to use booking.com messaging. There was a problem with the toilet. We had to report it several times and each time it was not fixed, finally having been shouted at over the phone, told I was wasting his time, and hung up on, it was fixed. The thing is, if they had listened and read what I was describing, it would have been fixed the first time. The snack bar was not open until day 10 of our holiday. Having a snack bar at the hotel was a big box to tick for our holiday and if we'd known, we'd have probably booked elsewhere. I rang and asked to speak to someone in person about this and was told the duty manager will speak with us on the afternoon. This never happened. The mattresses were the worst we have ever slept on. By day 7 my back had given out and I'm yet to recover. This must be what prison mattresses are like I wonder.

We loved the location. The cleaner was great, clean floor and tidy sheets every day. Manolis at the snack bar is fantastic and does awesome food. Maybe we were lucky but there wasn't rowdiness except for the usual furniture scraping (how do people do this at all hours I just do not know, and what exactly are they doing?) perhaps that is due to the pricing. The views over the bay were the very best and morning sunshine on the balconies gorgeous.

the beds are very old, mattress are desperate to be swapped, Shower is in need of being updated ASAP, been the same for the last 10 years. all rooms are the same. . Check in is poor, no contact details for late arrivals. if you didn't no the area or the hotel then you would be very panicked when arriving on a late flight. if first time staying then make sure you contact them before arrival

This is always subjective, but the kitchen and bathroom facilities are “tired”. Didn’t particularly bother me but I know plenty of people it would. Single beds (in my apartment) have a foot board, so if you’re over 6ft tall you can’t fully stretch out. Poolside bar not open. I can see why this might be, but it should be flagged up. As far as I can see the booking websites are still advertising that it’s open.

Fantastic location. Away from the main road, so very quiet, but still within easy walking distance of bars, supermarkets, restaurants and the beach. Great views and good sized room (albeit I was travelling alone). Two would be fine, but any more would be a squeeze. Lovely pool and plenty of sun beds.

The owner Nicos called us a few minutes before our flight, that the apartment we booked 3 weeks earlier and payed for, is not free and he will give us another one. Yes, they picked us up from the airport afterwards, but the apartment we got was really small with one room, really small bathroom. The room was small even for two people not for three! We couldn't even open the closet, because the bed was right next to it (we were supposed to have 35 sqare meters apartment with separate kitchen and dining area). He told us we will be staying there until our apartment is free, but we came the next morning saying that we will not stay there another night. And suddenly around an hour after that our apartment at kontessa was free and they finally transfered us there, but they never gave us any compensation for that and he didn't even apologize which I, as his customer, consider really rude after all this.
