Perhaps they could change the bes linen and the towels more often, like every 2-3 days instead of every 4-5. But it's minor, compared to the benefits of the place.

The apartment was very comfortable, in a complex that never felt crowded, although it was full. The pools were amazing, surrounded by trees. The air conditioning worked well, no problems with hot water. The complex is 10 minutes away from the beach by car, but it is worth it if you want to avoid the crowds and feel a bit of authentic Cretan atmosphere. There are also awesome Tavernas just 3 min uphill, with nice views, awesome food and playgrounds for kids.

As per one of the previous reviews, we loved the place a lot for everything it offers. We travel without plans and booking places as we go and we came back for another stay within few days (after seeing west part of Crete). Coming back to the same places happens very rarely I our travels, so it says a lot.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, so car is really necessary to get anywhere (beaches, tavernas, shops,...) But we knew that, so it was not surprising. It does not change our overall feeling, that we loved the holidays here!

Total satisfaction, we had a great time there and would return without any doubt. Apartment was large enough for 4 people and well equipped (including washing machine and dishwasher). Pool was fantastic, kids loved it!

Loutra Resort was in a convenient, peaceful location. The villas were spacious and very clean. The staff was amazing and flexible, we were grateful for all the help they provided us. We had a very comfortable stay and eventually returned there after doing some island-hopping.

A very nice resort. Not too big and crowded. Superb pool for a good swim. Big apartment with everything we needed. Nice comfortable large bed. Lovely balcony enjoying the best of the sunshine in the morning. Popi the resort manager was very nice and helpful.

Nothing. I would have rated 10 if location would have been on the beach, but I guess you cannot change that ;)

Apartments are clean, spacious, it’s quiet, so sleep is good. Apartment is well equipped for self catering, you have everything. The pool is nice and very good if you don’t have time to go to the sea, or in the evening you can relax there when coming back from town. It’s not so hot in the evening, the location is up on a hill. Many thanks to the owner, Popi, a very nice, friendly and helpful person! We recommend the beach from Rethimno, really nice sand. In Rethimno, you must try the sweet shop Mona Lisa!

Very clean, almost new, comfortable apartment with everything you need for vacation! Equipped with washing machine, dish machine, towels changing after few days... Very nice garden, stuff always there if you need some help or anything related for your stay. Warm recommendation!

The peaceful and relaxed athmosphere by the pool! If you want to be in a remote area enjoying the beautiful campaign and small villages around while remaining at 20 mn from the sea and Rethymon by bus, the place is for you. Beautiful pool, beautiful garden, nice and comfortable flat! We loved it!

Can’t think of anything. If I have to say something, I would mention that the appartment was rather dark. But we did not spend much time in the appartment.

The location was just perfect for us. I loved going for walks and enjoying the landscape, my partner and kids enjoyed the pool to the fullest. The Pool can very well be overlooked, the kids (4, 6) could be by the kids’ pool while we where still at the appartment. We don’t mind walking, so we did not mind that the closest Taverna was ~1,5km away.

We had amazing holiday in Loutra resort, a very peaceful and lovely place. Popi, the site manager was friendly and always happy to help. The apartment was nice and clean. There is a small bakery just few steps away and couple of restaurants in Pigi village - 15min walk from the apartment. It’s 3km away from the beach with amazing restaurants. You can take the bus to Rethymno ( bus stop opposite the resort, tickets are €1.20 and it takes approx 25 mins to get to that fantastic town). We can’t wait to come back!

The stay was excellent, the host welcomed us as if we were family. He even left us some gifts in the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and the terrace and pool make the stay really enjoyable. If we come back to Crete, we will definitely repeat here.
