How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Noise outside until 2am due to bars around.
Convenient location, Kathryn (sp?) at the desk was amazing! Nice balcony, breakfast was amazing, we ended up asking to share so we wouldn’t waste food.

Stayed here for just one night but LOVED it! Breakfast was amazing!!!! And side note best hotel shower I've ever had. Room was so clean, hotel staff was very friendly. I will say the room was small and facing a wall (can't see much of anything out the window) but it was perfect for a one night stay. I know some reviews complain about the noise but we had no issues with noise at all (maybe because we were facing a back wall). GREAT experience wish we we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in quite busy street also in night time, so sleeping with window open is not an option. But overall we had good night sleep. Only one thing bothered me regarding the room - the hair dryer is attached to the wall quite far from the mirror, and the wire is quite short, so styling the hair was a challenge. Unfortunately, during our stay the restaurant was still closed, so we could not enjoy the gastronomy.
Location is perfect, less than 5min walk from Ancient Agora, there are many restaurants and bars nearby in walking distance. But since its the very end of Ermou street, its quite loud and lively throughout all the day. Our room was on 2nd floor with a nice view of Acropolis, modern and spacious, with a walk in closet and big bathroom. We appreciated the complementary water and bottle of wine, and the small terrace with a view. Breakfast is served on the terrace from where you get the views of the city, and you get to choose what you would like to eat the night before. Everything is delicious, but be careful - portions are quite big, first morning we could hardly finish half of what we ordered. Staff was very nice and helpful with everything - starting from greeting us to booking restaurants and taxi to airport.

Just the friendliest staff, starting from the wonderfully warm welcome, right through to checkout, the team at MiraMe were wonderful. The room looked small in the photos but was a perfect size and was super quiet, which was wonderful!

We stayed at the MiraMe Hotel in Athens for one night. As we visited during the low season, the hotel's restaurant was closed (still open for breakfast though) but the staff were forthright and honest in informing us in advance of this, which was very much appreciated. The hotel is in a very nice location and within 5-7 mins walking distance of the Acropolis and a range of restaurants, bars, and cafes. Katerina, who was at the reception when we checked in, was fantastic and was kind enough to offer us a delicious welcome drink. It's small gestures like this that make a holiday memorable. Would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Athens.

We loved our stay here. The staff were amazing and really put forth effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Also the location was perfect for us to visit all the sites and within walking distance of all our tours.

Great location, beautiful room! You can view the Acropolis while eating breakfast, which was absolutely delightful. The staff were fabulous. Catherina, in particular, gave us so many good recommendations of things to see and where to eat that we wished we had stayed longer.The hotel is right across the street from well stocked wine and beer stores as well!

We didn't have a problem with it and didn't need earplugs, but if you're a light sleeper a room on the road side might be too noisy for you.
It's a lovely small hotel in an old house, with extremely gracious and accommodating staff. We had to leave before breakfast was officially served, and the staff packed us breakfast and made us coffee before we headed out which we deeply appreciated. The rooms was very comfortable with a cute balcony overlooking the street and a peek-a-boo view of ruins, and the bathroom had a nice luxe feeling to it. We wish we had more than one night there and wouldn't hesitate to book again - it was great value for money.

Friday/Sat night street noise gets a bit wild for those of us with early bedtimes

The only thing that could improve slightly is the breakfast. Since it is not a buffet breakfast but a menu from which you can choose, I would like some more options.
Everything about the Hotel is great. Its location is perfect, rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. We loved everything about this hotel, we will choose it again next time we are in Athens! Many thanks to Thanasis and Elena at the reception and Alexandros at breakfast.

From hello to goodbye it was an amazing experience! Extremely polite staff! Great location! We were lucky to have the view to the acropolis from our room. Breakfast on the rooftop was extraordinary not just because of the view but also because of the huge and great quality breakfast!

1. Standard rooms are very small and don't have closet. 2. Not enough power sockets in the room. 3. Breakfast is not great
Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The Deluxe rooms have Acropolis view. Location is really great - in the heart of Ermou Street and next to Metro Station.
