The property is only a block from the central Square of the town where we walked for breakfast and dinner. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, swimming area and snack bar were perfect place to hang out. The town itself is charming and authentic even though there are many tourist shops. It’s a center of commerce for this area as well

I stayed at Mirtilos and everything was perfect. The room was exactly as the photos and better. Very nice swimming pool and pool bar. The staff and the manager are very kind and helpful. We will come back for sure!

The water in the swimming pool was freezing cold and we couldsn't use it. Also, the hotel bar was closing at 11pm. When I made the reservation on booking they process my card for the authorization, and the entire sum was blocked and taken from my account. After my stay, they processed my card and they took the entire sum again (even though I have paying on arrival and they didn't asked me how i want to pay). I had to wait for a month that the first amount is unlocked and back to my account. When I told them they took the money twice they said is not possible and I'm wrong and did nothing to unlock the money faster. I saw that I'm not the only one who had this experience.

The room was nice, just like the pictures. Everything was clean and as advertised.

Piped music around swimming pool , was ok in bar area but abit annoying to hear it everywhere when trying to read/ enjoy quiet time.

Pool clean , excellent location near beach, restaurants , town centre. Friendly family run , helpful staff in reception , pool bar and housekeeping. Didn't change linen unnecessarily unless needed. Kitchenette good, had everything we needed, Nice bathrooms and huge comfortable bed. Nice glasses of wine from pool bar.

There were two things which can be bothering some. First, the plumbing system is poorly silenced, so you can hear your neighbours taking a shower. Second, breakfast tends to be cold, and barely luke warm at 8 a.m. when serving starts.

Huge private parking lot, spacious rooms with a side sea view, very friendly staff and a quiet location. Upon arrival, I requested a bottle of local wine to be put in a room, highly recommend it, as it was a nice start to a first day in. Mitrilos also sent a direction on how to arrive at the hotel. AMAZING considering that Google Maps tried to point us to the closed or the reverse one-directional route. Some comments say that hotel staff ask for payment for the bar in cash, that is true, but also there is no problem in paying by card. In our opinion, it's not a one-star hotel as presented on Google Maps, more like a 2+, although we stayed in a 4* which had a worse standard and comfort than this one.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. We stayed for many days in Chania, but the choice I made for a hotel in Kissamos was more than worth it. Everything was excellent. The staff (Eva) was excellent at her job. He welcomed us warmly and gave us tips about the surrounding area. He also made us perfect cocktails. Thank you Eva. You are the best! The room exceeded our expectations. The bathroom modern and fantastic. The pool is very large, where you can swim freely and sit on the comfortable sunbeds and enjoy Eva's nice cocktails. We will definitely visit this hotel with Eva's wonderful kindness. Thanks for all. See you soon!

Not the hotels fault but some quite disrepectful people turned up and were really noisy and spashing the water outside the pool, it soaked my book before then it had been peace and quiet. The staff i feel couldve reminded them politely that there were other guests

I loved how friendly and welcoming it was, but yet youre left to yourself. You walk either way and youre met with plenty of restaurants that are just as friendly. I loved that this place wasnt big on alcohol there were no drunktards by midnight everyone asleep. Love it

Cleanness, location, pool

Probably the best hotel in Kissamos, although we found Kissamos itself very boring. The hotel the best location+good service+smiling staff (unlike the staff of different restaurants in Kissamos)

Stayed for one night as traveling from east to visit Balos beach August 2023 with a family of four in a ground floor apartment, Shower and WC exceeded expectation. All appeared modern as for the other decor Yes abit dated but completly adequate with good Aircon. All staff were extremely polite. Pool and surroundings were well kept and clean throughout. Opted for breakfast due to an early start. Choice of a cooked or continental and fresh fruit. Went through the lot and all presented and cooked fine. Just one little suggestion, would have been nice to have fresh orange juice. On offer was more waterdowned orange squash. Would I stay again Yes.

In room details it states 'Tea/Coffee maker' which is incorrect, a kettle is available instead, maybe should read 'Tea/coffee making facilities. Satellite channels on TV did not work which I reported but was never fixed. Soap tray in shower was coming off the wall. Bathroom sink was loose, partly off wall. Shower flex was leaking when we got there but was fixed quickly by staff when reported.

Great pool. Good size room. Clean. Friendly staff. Quite close to the beach and close to local shops and restaurants. Air con was also very welcome.

Air conditioning could have been a bit colder! But our visit was during exceptionally hot conditions.

Fantastic property, great location close to the lovely town centre of Kissamos and a short walk to the seafront, both with an array of lovely restaurants. Pool area was fab, great bar and staff were so friendly. Accommodation was perfect - everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely recommend and hopefully return!
