Bathroom drains slight musty smell could be lack of use over winter. Bit of drain cleaner would probably have sorted it. Access lane is very narrow at one point, watch your wing mirrors!

Narrow road to the villa, Keycard for lights etc and air con attached to keys so when nipping out in the evening to do shopping whilst kids and wife stayed in the villa they had to sit in the dark lol

Our villa was very close to a hotel and it got quite loud in the evenings with the music from the pool bar. I suppose it is better in the villas closer to the sea (number 2). Every villa has 2 free sunbeds and 1 umbrella by the beach which is great but would be even better if it was enough for the whole house, which can fit in 6 people.

The staff were superfriendly and easygoing. Our villa was ready a few hrs before the checkin which was great. The location of the villas couldn't be better, just 2 mins from a lovely beach, 2 mins from the main town road, 10 mins to Lidl. Easy parking on the premises (but if you dont need transportation from the airport you dont really have to have a car here). Every bedroom has their own bathroom. Small private pool and terraces with very comfy outdoor furniture and sunbeds. Washer and dryer and a ping pong table in the basement.

These were not issues for us, but just thought I'd mention for someone else: - If you are driving, the road to get there is very narrow, but we managed by closing our car's side mirrors. - All three bedrooms are on different levels. - There is no bath, all three bathrooms have showers.

Wow wow wow! We had an incredible time! The villa is gorgeous! The location couldn't be more perfect, as it was about 100m from the beach. The rooms are a great size, the beds were super comfy. The villa is serviced every second day which is very convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and showed genuine interest in you. It's close to a local supermarket, and there are a lot of restaurants around to chose from. It comes with free onsite parking. The pool was pristine. You get a free umbrella and two loungers at Platanes Beach per day because you are staying at Blue Oyster Villas.

The beds could be better. The mattresses weren't the best quality. Also, the apartment complex was a little difficult to find at first -- you have to turn down an extremely narrow alleyway that is not at all marked well. We gritted our teeth driving down the alley, everytime, because our rental car - even as tiny as it was - always seemed like it was going to scrape the walls. We hope the owners are able to build a better way into the place someday; until then, get a really small car!

This apartment was amazing! The private pool was much bigger than we thought it would be. The beach is just a quick 1-minute walk down the driveway, and - bonus - we had two beach chairs and an umbrella included with our stay. The beach itself was sandy and great for our kids to play on. There was a bar/snack place on the beach also. The apartment had a nice coffee machine, a roomy refrigerator, and most of the kitchen supplies/utensils that we needed. The air conditioning worked very well and was very welcome during the hot afternoons. We always felt safe walking to and from the place, there are several good restaurants and a well-stocked grocery store right up the street. We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing really. Some mishaps on the washer/dryer and drainage on the basement bathroom but they were immediately addressed by management.

Kids loved the pool! Everyday they were looking forward to jumping in after a full day of excursion.

the one teeny tiny gripe, the sink tap in the top bathroom is round the wrong way, cold is hot/hot is cold so I scolded myself (not bad at all) a couple of times, more of a minor irritant but easily fixed by some who knows how

Immaculately clean, Georgio came daily to check the pool, he and the cleaning staff were excellent at pottering around making sure everything was perfect. Steps from the beach, and beach bar for lunch. Restaurants a couple of minutes walk away, I didn’t cook a single meal which was the deal I made with the kids who wanted a villa over a hotel! Absolutely ideal, the perfect place for a much needed family break. Location was safe for the young teenagers to go off wandering and enough going on to keep the littlest (6), entertained.

Pictures outdated: Bungalow does not stand alone, detached anymore! There is a big Hotel RIGHT on the Eastern side. Information on booking.com in so far missleading. Plus: check in was scheduled for 1400 according to arrangement. Yet we were forced to kill time in the midday heat until 1600. This is a lot of time on holiday!

Taxi booked via reception did not arrive on departure date and nobody at the reception at that moment. We had to find another solution in a rush in order not to miss our flight.

The villa is amazing with a good size swimming pool, 3 double bedrooms each with a bathroom, a comfortable kitchen and living room. There is a cleaning everyday and other services such as ironing could be arranged. There are plenty of excellent tavernas at a walking distance (2-3 minutes) from the villas. The beach is immediately next to the villas and umbrella and beach beds are included in the rental. The temperature of water was constantly around 26°. There are 2 terraces one next to the pool and another next to the room on floor 1. Both terraces are big. Before our arrival, we requested some groceries and home essentials to be bought and put in the house and this was done (we paid for the goods only the day after our arrival). We could check-in late and there was a waitor waiting for us in the propret. We also could check out late as the new guests were arriving late. This is an ideal solution if you are looking for a good hassle-free accommodation.

Oyster 3: - the hotel restaurant from the hotel next door is above your pool and your balcony upstairs. So you hear their music every day and night and you hear people at supper. The music is quite loud in the evening so you can’t even play your own music. It doesn’t show the restaurant that overlooks the terrace on the pictures. I am not sure if we payed less than the other houses but it should be mentioned in the description. We didn’t mind so much but if your looking for privacy that house isn’t good for you since the people from the restaurant can look down at your pool and terrace. -The wifi doesn’t work very well, you have to keep logging in and we got kicked out at least every 10 minutes. And it’s super slow at times. -The staff in the little office didn’t understand a word of English and were even confused with the word “check in” and they were super confused that we were there. We didn’t even get keys in the beginning but the cleaning lady let us in the house so we could at least take the kids out of the car.

+Location +Beds are really comfortable. +Super nice housekeeper, he even speaks fluent German since he grew up in Germany +It’s 3 floors so if you’re 3 parties every party has their own floor. In the basement there is a ping pong table and a washing machine and a drier. +You get 2 free chairs and an umbrella at the beach. +It’s really quiet and right at the beach. You have a carport which is really useful in the summer. +It’s very very spacious.

The entry to the property was incredibly tight, our vehicle got through the street and entrance with only a few centimeters on each side.
