How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The bed was a little bit hard (which is not an exception in Greece).
calm atmosphere, close to the waterfalls and therma centrum. Caring host.

Nothing. it suited us very well.
Such a lovely place, very kind-hearted hosts and the facilities were excellent for the price we paid, the outdoor kitchen we shared with one other who we got along with very well and we enjoyed that. We will be coming back.

Electricity for the other room was coupled with the one in our room, so we needed to keep the cable of the light plugged in. Once we plugged it out to charge out phones there (above the bed), the neighbors told us they don't have power. This needs to be fixed in a more professional way. No air conditioner in the room, just a fan - the AC is something we considered automatically when booking the room but not the case, so no misleading information but just a hint that it could get a bit warm sometimes. Shower couldn't attach to wall so need to hold it.

The rooms of Kyria Apostoloudias are in a wonderful location, surrounded by fruit trees and the greenery of the upper slopes above Therma town. The famous bathres of Kria and Paradeisos are very close by.

The room was super clean and the bed mattress is really good. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible! The place is within walking distances from the pools and close to the forest. It is also right next to Therma, but far enough to avoid the noise at night. We've had a wonderful stay here.

Felicia is super sweet and there to help if you have any questions. From the balcony you can see the ocean, and the property is well-located close to the restaurants and bars in Therma, though the street itself is very quiet and super green.

Rooms were noisy, no sound insulation at all. Even the mildest chattering could be heard from outside.

We had an issue with the payment. We were asked to swift transfer half of the amount and we did so. This was 200 euros, however, the lady only received 175 euros. Our bank showed zero fees so her bank took money. She spoke very little English and was completely unwilling to listen to us about the problem. She just kept pointing at her bank statement and saying "this is you, this is your problem, not my bank". In the end we contacted booking.com and they said the payment issue was with her not us. Right up until the end she was unwilling to listen to our side, we paid what we were supposed to. We wanted to end on a good note, however, she told us to go away. This was unfortunate as the place was nice and a good location. The pictures, however, are misleading and the name as it is not an apartment. It is a small room with a private bathroom. There were kitchen facilities out on the balcony. The beds were not very comfortable either, you could feel all of the springs in them.
Good location, nice and quiet. Fair price. Requested a double bed and was told it would depend on availability. However, when we arrived it was obvious the rooms all had single beds which they just pushed together.

The rooms are a bit small, and the kitchen is outside in the balcony.
I liked the location of the rooms was very close to all the activities of the villages but at the same time away from the noise. Also i liked, the fact that the room was cleaned every day,. the view from the room was very good.

The beds broke our backs, we could feel every spring in the mattress. We also heard our neighbors talking about this. Bathrooms tiny, and the drain barely worked so quick showers only otherwise the bathroom flooded. Kitchen is missing all the basics (coffee, tea, salt). Sponge and wipe were left from previous renters and was not replaced with new ones. It is a bit of an un-personal place; no personal touches in the rooms, the owners don’t walk/show you the room. It’s spacious and location is great, also it’s clean. :)
Great location, spacious rooms, good to have an adjacent outdoor kitchen area.
