Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOct 2023. Staff and owners were hard-working, caring and always on-site. Location is very quiet and has a nice view of the surrounding mountains with a spacious scenic patio for al fresco dining and relaxing. Breakfast was a wholesome start for my hiking activities and the bathtub was an appreciated finish. Dinner cooking was great and reasonably priced. Hotel kindly arranged a reasonable-cost taxi transport from Ioannina to and from the hotel and followed up to make sure I was picked up on schedule (big help!) Perfect hiking base for ascending to Astraka Mountain Hut and descending to Vikos Gorge.

CanadaThe hotel is very nice, located above the village with a beautiful view of the mountains. The room was cozy and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and there is a restaurant at the hotel, where we had trout for dinner. Alternatively, it is a short walk to restaurants in the centre of the village. The host was very helpful and cooperative when we were delayed in driving up from the Peloponnese and arrived quite late at night. She was also very helpful in giving us advice about planning our intinerary for the day. The road to Papingo is windy with many switchbacks (see photo), but was not a problem, even while driving in the middle of the night. Parking was available on-site.

United KingdomWe loved it all!
Pantheon is situated in a stunning mountainous area with plenty of walks, views and scenic places to visit. My sister and I had visited 6 years previously and the hotel was as good as ever: attractive, comfortable and good sized room with a good shower and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfasts on the peaceful terrace with the amazing views were always tasty and filling as were the evening meals which one can choose to have. The small village of Papingo is a delight to wander round and there are a number of restaurants and cafes to choose from - we particularly liked Aris. We went River Rafting with the company Extreme Rafting - it was a great experience, very well run and an excellent rafting guide. We so enjoyed meeting again and chatting to the owners, Voula and Tassos and very much appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness - thanks especially to the lovely Dimizra for her great service and smile!

IsraelThere was no bath stopper, so there was no option to take a bath which was very disappointing. Even when asking at reception they said they don't have one. At evening time its chilly outside and I was looking forward for having a bath 😞
Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful village. The rooms are so unique with authentic atmosphere. Comfortable bed. The location is great. There is a very good restaurant at the property and within 5 minutes walk there is the center of the village with bar and more restaurants. It is also close to attractions like pools of rogovo, papigo bridge and half an hour drive from other attractions like vidomatis river track which was my favorite. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and served to your table: fresh orange juice, tasty salad, omlete, cheese, butter, jam, cake and hot drinks.

IsraelBreakfast could have been better - more variety, fresher bread, better coffee. In the room there could be a kettle and tea, more places to hang the towels. There was a bit of sewege smell just outside the room.
The staff was very friendly, dinner was very good. The location is excellent for touring the area.

IsraelPapingo Hotel: Views, Food, Owner We recently had an incredible stay at the charming Pantheon hotel in Papingo. The hotel's location was simply unbeatable, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. From my window, I could see the stunning mountains and lush landscapes, making it a perfect escape into nature. The highlight of our stay, undoubtedly, was the food. The restaurant served the most delicious and authentic Greek cuisine I've ever tasted. Every meal was a delightful journey through local flavors and ingredients, leaving my taste buds craving more. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients truly set the dining experience apart. What made our stay even more memorable was the warm and welcoming owner. Their genuine hospitality and personal touch added a special layer of comfort to the entire experience. From offering helpful recommendations about nearby attractions to ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect, their dedication to their guests was truly commendable. In conclusion, our time at Pantheon hotel in Papingo was nothing short of extraordinary. With its unbeatable location, exceptional culinary offerings, and the wonderful owner, it's a place I can't wait to return to. If you're seeking an unforgettable getaway that combines natural beauty, fantastic food, and genuine hospitality,

Everything - the room is very spacious and clean with beautiful views of Mount Astraka. Check-in and check out was a breeze and Ms. Voula was truly wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant (the best meals we have had while in Greece - we didn’t even try another restaurant as we were so excited to come back and have dinner here). The veal steak was out of this world! Ms. Voula gave us a map with all of the sites and knowing that we only had a couple of days, gave us some ideas of where to go and what to do for best use of our time. It was all perfect. The best hospitality in Greece!! Akis (I’m sorry, I may have his name wrong), was also excellent with service for breakfast and dinner. Very well run hotel and people who care about their guests. We highly recommend!!
