This is a family hotel located at the end of Plakias bay, it is in very quiet location (no main road near the hotel). The hotel was recently renovated, rooms are nice and clean, comfortable beds. This hotel was mostly visited by couples, so very quiet guests. The owners are very nice. Breakfasts were delicious. We also had one dinner - they cook some traditional Greek food that I never ate before anywhere in Greece, very tasty. I would return to this hotel next time.

Perfect location. Very quiet , due to the fact the road stops at the hotel. No traffic. The hotel is very beautiful, without unnecessary luxury. As far as I could see most (all?) of the rooms have a double and a single bed and a terrace. The staff is friendly and easy going. The restaurant serves very good price/quality food. It’s a perfect location to come to rest. The fact that there is a naturist beach in front of the hotel made it perfect, but for those who prefer textile there is plenty of other beaches just minutes walking further.

There wasn't really anythign to not like about the place.

A great location and very friendly people. I was welcomed with a smile. The hotel has an excent courtyard area with olive trees, table and chairs and amazing views. An exceptional area to have a drink. I didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked amazing and I shall try it next time. Great sunset view. I shall return.

Best hotel in town due to amazing location - quiet but close to city center and best beach. Amazing architecture - all rooms have amazing beach view and intimacy. A lot of nature around. Good breakfast, clean rooms, nice personelle.

The location was perfect. - Beach(great) is 50m from the hotel - Spectacular view on the Plakias bay and the mountains behind. - Close to good taverns and super market - Really beautiful nature all around the hotel The area is less touristy comparing to Chania area in high season and more relaxing. Very good beaches are few km away. The hotel itself - The staff was very helpful - It was very clean - Has everything necessary - Terrace was good size with great view - Breakfast was delicious Definitely happy with our stay.

There was no safe in the room for our valuables.

It’s situated on the hill top with an amazing view of the beach. We could walk to the beach and have a drink at the nearby cafe/bars. It had a super cold mini-fridge for our water. 👍 The breakfast buffet was quite good with a nice seating area. The manager was very welcoming and let us borrow beach towels.

Ewerything was OK !!!

Mr. Yangos and his team are the people in their places. They will gladly advise and help you with everything you need as a guest. The hotel is smaller, but very cozy in a beautiful and quiet place. The room provides a perfectly adequate space for two people. The view from the balcony is unforgettable. Room cleaning daily and in a much higher quality than I have experienced in many other higher category hotels. Breakfast is a buffet, very tasty, in the hotel garden with a nice view of the sea and Plakias.

We liked everything. Couldn't have been better.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are incredible with everything you could wish for and the rooms are very comfortable with a wonderful view of the mountains, sea and hinterland, The beach is an easy 5-10 mins walk away and there are lovely flower-filled walks from the hotel entrance along and round the headland. The town is an easy 15 min walk away but there are tavernas and supermarkets nearer than this. The hotel is perfect whether you just want a beach holiday or a base to explore further inland or along the coast in both directions.

Great short stay at Plakias Bay . Lovely little authentic family run Greek hotel. Everything you want on hand and the family very helpful and friendly. Right next to the beach with an easy walk to the town. (Just for info - several steps and slopes at the hotel if you require level access . ) the rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds, a kettle in the room and our balcony looked over the bay . Buffet Breakfast with lots of Hot and cold choice.

From the photos, its apparent that you can expect a clean and comfortable accomodation. But this place is just so much more! Mainly to the friendly and easygoing personnel, thats always there to help you and make your stay memorable. They would provide you with the best tips of how to spend your time in Plakias to your highest satisfaction at the given time of the year and will help you with any issues that you might encounter. Their highlight is definitely the breakfasts, which are worth the early start (served up to 10 oclock). Go for it - you will be blown away! Moreover, we travelled the West and South of Creta and Plakias is just the perfect spot to be. Less tourist, many beautiful spots within the one-day-trip-by-car range, and a very clear sea. The bay is lovely, and the rainbow rock above the hotel brings it close to a kitsch :-) Great base for climbers, as the wall has many great pathes ranging from 5b to 8a. I would simply recommend this place to all my friends.

Our stay at Plakias Bay Hotel was truly great. The host and all the employees treated us with great kindness. The breakfast was delicious, including a variety of mostly vegetarian spreads and cretan cheeses. From our balcony, we had a beautiful view of the whole bay. In 25 minutes, we could walk to the city centre with all the restaurants or in the other direction: to Damnoni Beach.
