We can say only beautiful things about this hotel. We start with the Owners, they are lovely. The welcome was so warm and true. Our room was great, terrace with see view, a lot of space and very comfortable bed. Kitchen full equipped. Short distance from bars and restaurants. Really good breakfast. It was not our first time there and for sure not the last! Thanks 😊

Lovely personal touches by the host with very friendly greeting. Exceptional location on the waterfront with natural sea water swimming pool. Was walking distance to many restaurants and bars, as well as a 15min walk to a huge resort or 50min walk to small seaside town of Sisi. Its best to have a car if staying here to drive to other places in the East of Crete, and to the olive press nearby, but also perfect if you just want to stay here and relax.

Beautiful and typically Greek, white and blue with bougainvillea, lovely pool with salt water jacuzzi, nice breakfast, the apartment no 6 is spacious and comfortable with a fabulous shower and 2 patios I would recommend here any time

It is a lovely place, the sea water pool always very clean. The breakfast is unique because the bread is baked by the owner herself. The rooms are very clean and very well equipped.

Johanna, the host, is so welcoming and generous. She checked if everything was OK with the room. The heated salt water pool looked inviting but unfortunately the weather was windy and wet when we were there; If we hadn’t had forward bookings we would have stayed longer however…the dining / bar area was comfortable and cosy with a sea view. The breakfast was excellent.

Very relaxing. Owned by a lovely ‘retired’ couple Paris & Joanna, home baked bread from Joanna in the mornings with the continental breakfast. Apartment lovely and clean and well serviced. Ours had a balcony front and rear. Quiet fishing village but with a good selection of tavernas.

Lovely friendly staff we were greeted by Joanna on arrival and offered refreshments straight away before being shown to a super clean apartment situated in a perfect spot on the sea front. Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of continental cheese ham toast etc. The filter coffee was amazingly good. A perfect spot to unwind and relax in a stunning little village.

It was impossible to describe my wonderful vacation in PortoBello in one sentence. It was wonderful, the owners are wonderful people, they really care about their guests. Every day Paris made sure that there was no shortage of fruit by the pool for guests, offered grapes, nectarines and very tasty cookies baked to order. Ioanna, on the other hand, baked fresh bread for breakfast every day and always made sure that everyone had something good for themselves. I must add that the bread is very good and very healthy, baked according to Ioanna's recipe, I have very serious health problems and I usually don't eat bread, but Ioanna's bread was delicious and I could eat it without any problems. For several years I have been struggling with overweight and I managed to lose 4 kilos with Ioana and Paris, thanks to breakfast, fruit and a swimming pool that you can use throughout the day. My husband and I are going back next year.

Bedroom was adequate for our one night stay however was a little cramped and had we had more luggage would have been a challenge

Outside areas great. The apartment had two private balconies and a nice modern shower in the bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. A wonderful warm sea water filled pool with a jacuzzi. Joanna was the perfect host and could not do enough for us

everything was great, stayed for 2 nights, lovely couple own and they can't do enough to make your stay perfect. Nice pool aswell. It has many nice restaurants near by and a cocktail bar very close on a little beach which is great at night. Its not a beach town but just perfect to get away from the masses and chill.
