Kyriaki is a very good and caring host. The apartment is located near the old town and the port, everything is close. A big advantage is the terrace, where you can sit very nicely and look at the sea and the docks.

The host was very welcoming, she even made us some delicious cake!. The apartment was in a great location with a fab roof terrace. Very clean and with 2 bedrooms (one with twin beds) it was perfect for our family of 4 with teenage children.

Kyriaki was an excellent host and provided us with fabulous home cooking and her own produce for breakfast and as a hamper for the Samaria gorge walk. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking over the harbour and watching the neighborhood go by.

Cleanliness, beautiful rooms, two bathrooms, spacious terrace overlooking the sea, parking space and all this one step from the center of the old town of Chania-believe me wonderful apartment and now carefully - we have been traveling with my wife for more than 20 years and we have not met such a great woman - our landlady Kiriaki. Kiriaki will advise you on what to see, where to eat and is infinitely useful for your trip and be sure to ask about the family tavern so you will enjoy the perfect local cuisine. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back again! Thank you very much, Kiriaki, for everything, indeed !

Parking in front of the apartment could be challenging on a busy Saturday afternoon but hostess would be able to give nearby options

Location in the center of the old town. Terrace overlooking the city, the sea is not visible but it is not a problem. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. It can be noisy at night because it's downtown. There is a free parking space. The apartments are clean and cozy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She informed us what was worth visiting. A very nice few days spent in October.

We loved everything!

My Fiance and I liked everything about Rayon De Soleil and it's Hostess/Owner, Kiriaki. Kiriaki is a really lovely Lady and so helpful with recommending excellent Restaurants/Cafes, etcetera. The house is exceptionally clean and the Cleaning Lady was also friendly and nice. The facilities are very good too. The Terrace is a lovely area in which to enjoy one's Breakfast or just to enjoy a drink. The Cretan Breakfast is excellent too; Kiriaki bakes her own products and traditional Cretan pies/cakes and makes all her fabulous Jams/Conserves. This is a quiet area of the Old Town/Port area with excellent facilities all around. If you can't get parking outside the Guesthouse, there are a couple of large car parks within walking distance. There are lots of shops close by too. We highly recommend this establishment and hope to return next year again! Thank you Kiriaki for making the last two days of our Holiday really great!

Our stay in Rayon de Soleil was amazing! The house is very well located (directly next to the old town, still in a very quiet place). The building has a big terrace, where you can sit quietly or enjoy a little bit of the breeze when you come back home. But the highlight of this accommodation for was was the host: Kiriaki was so lovely to us and gave us the best tips about how to enjoy the city the most. She was very nice and attentive and came personally to receive us and welcome us warmly. She was very open to listen to our comments about the room/installation and was a very kind person, who acts with the heart. I will definitely come back one day! (And, of course, I recommend this place:) )

It was quite perfect!

Well informed, friendly, discreetly present, culturally aware host. The accommodation has absolutely everything you could need (if you don't see it, look in the cupboards in the stylish bathroom). Breakfast on the balcony - with view on the sea and the boats - was superlative: home baked croissants, a variety of home made jams and a cheese filled pastry that i can't spell yet but that was just perfect. Kiriaki, our host, is an architect and her professional background shows in the attention to detail that has gone in making the most of Rayon de Soleil. The sea is nearby, as is the magnificent bay and historical sites. There are eating places aplenty close by. 3 bedrooms can be rented in Rayon de Soleil and we're looking to come back next year with the grandchildren.
