Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The property was so beautiful and unique, set in the most wonderful quiet location where you feel immersed in nature, but still so close to the beach/ everywhere you want to go. Nearby is a shop, restaurants, and an incredible sunset viewpoint. Our apartment was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view, I loved the feature of the bath tub in the bedroom. Mariana was a wonderful host and made us feel very much at home - thank you for a lovely stay!

FranceThe Reveira stone Villas are right next to the island's most beautiful sunset. The location is magnificent. You wake up surrounded by mountains with a splendid view of the sea on one side and the sunrise on the other. Then you end the day with the sun setting on the horizon, making the deeply blue water shine and the mountains glow in a thousand shades of green.

SloveniaWe had the loveliest time in a calm and peaceful part of Zakynthos, endowed with beautiful nature. Perfect place to escape from the busy streets of Zante or Laganas and enjoy Greek food and drinks. We enjoyed wonderful conversations with the owners as well and the company of numerous local cats. Advice - rent a car and visit the entire island, since Keri is not that easily accesible otherwise. Ask owners for more great tips.

FinlandIf you a "poor sleeper", you might face some troubles with all the nature's noises. Some earplugs are useful.
It is a perfect place for someone who is after cozy, traditional Greek place. The location is far from tourist stress, and you can feel yourself surrounded my nature. The owner is really friendly and helpful. We knew we would get something special but it was way better than we expected. I definitely want to go back there one day. Loved it!

United KingdomThe staff were so helpful, relaxed and friendly even when my flight was changed and I arrived a lot later than planned. The rooms were clean and even serviced daily which was a nice surprise and the swimming pool was great to relax by. We were worried about having no air conditioners in the room but the fan worked fine overnight even in the August heat. A short walk to the small village nearby with nice tavernas and cafe’s and a 5 minute drive to a great sunset view and dinner spot. Highly recommend staying here :)

United KingdomThe kitchen isn't very well set up. I imagine this isn't a problem for most people who are only preparing breakfast, but because of my daughter's dietary needs we had to do quite a lot of cooking, and this proved a bit challenging at times. Also bear in mind that you will have to used bottled water for everything, including cooking, as the tapwater is so salty.
The hosts are very lovely. The apartment is spacious and we liked the location, although the cockerels can get very noisy :) The pool area is gorgeous and we loved sitting on our balcony watching the sunset. The house was nice and cool despite there being no air-conditioning.

HungaryIf it's peak temp. around your stay, the walls, windows and door cant resist the heat, the room's temperature rises easily to an unconvenient level. There's no insulation, only the thick stone walls. Cleaning was made daily, but there's no broom or mop to the room as extra, you need to be careful what you carry with your shoes/slippers.
Great and quiet place, the homeowners are true greek, kind, respectful and always helpful. You can easily arrange programs, they offer breakfast and dinner, the pool is at its best temperature around july and august, the village next to the apartments is a quiet little one, and is more clean than the usual places around Zakynthos.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the Revera family. Fantastic hosts. We stayed in a studio which was more than adequate for our needs and exceptional clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms don’t have air on but being stone built they were cool and the fan provided did it’s job well even in 30* heat. The pool area is fab. We booked dinner for the last night and it was the best Greek food we had ever tasted. ( and my meal was made gluten free too). The sounds of nature reminded us of our home in wales. Goats, cockerels, cats etc and the cicadas were out in full force. We made friends with the geckos on the outside walls during the evening and they provided endless entertainment. If mobility is an issue Revera probably isn’t for you but if you want to step back in time and have a wholesome relaxing experience amidst nature then this is. We left behind not only a wonderful place but also new friends. We will be back. ❤️

GreeceSome minor things were missing and would have made stay perfect. Only one outdoor chair, the other was folded in the room without fabric.A kitchen sink plug to make dish washing easier and use less water, kitchen drying towels (we used a bathroom towel).
Nice rustic style accommodation in the village period style. Lovely looking pool but did not use. Rural environment was very scenic and relaxing. It was an easy walk to the village cafes and restaurant and supermarket.

BelgiumEverything was fantastic in this place, it looks even better than in the pictures. Every room has an outside patio or terrace, the beds are comfortable and the places are just so pretty. Also it doesn’t get hot at night as the building is from stone (but not cold either). The pool is a bonus when you feel like being lazy and not going anywhere. The location is beautiful, “in the middle of nothing” and in Keri (+/- 1 km) there are several restaurants, so no need to go too far to eat well. The staff was really lovely. I would recommend to anyone who likes a chill and calm holiday.
