Shower cubicle in our room was a bit snug, possibly something to consider when there is a bathroom refurb in the future.

Great location for exploring the old town and not too far to walk to access beaches and other tourist services in the newer part of the city. Breakfast was superb with a wide selection of foods to suit all tastes and being a buffet style means you can try whatever you fancy. Staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.. The small touches such as a glass of iced water when you sat in the pool areas made you feel special. We were in the building across the narrow srtreet from reception with a small courtyard around the small pool. Room had so much character and very comfortable and the courtyard was very relaxing and quiet.

Breakfast, surroundings and breakfast waitress.. she was pure joy and nothing was too much trouble. The pool and its surroundings were an oasis of calm in the middle of the Rethymno hustle and bustle.

Very little. Robe really picky the pool was still quite cool this time of year, but a heated pool would not be good environmentally so I would rather have a cool dip than a pool heated.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff were warm and kind, bringing our luggage up to our rooms and greeting us with a welcome drink. The hotel is in a great location, in the middle of Rethymno, which made it easy to walk around. There is also a parking garage ~7 minute walk from the hotel which was very convenient.

On a positive note The staff were outstanding so polite helpful and professional especially Georgia our lady who cleaned our bedroom The bedroom and especially the unbelievably small bathroom was tired looking towels were tiny and had seen better days wardrobe space very cramped clothes got creased as not enough height space and no iron in room to rectify problem safe could have been place better at eye level rather than low down there are numerous steps at all sorts of angles with very little hand rail support to negotiate in bedroom and the hotel in general there is no lift in the section we stayed in so if anyone has a problem with getting up and down steps this isn’t the hotel for you

The building is old which is part of its charm. So you expect it to be quirky and different which it is. However, there were areas that felt a bit ‘tired’ and in need of rejuvenation - such as the shower!

It’s located in the heart of the old town which can be very busy. However the hotel is like a well run oasis of calm. Overall, the facilities are very good and are kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

Stayed for the second time and very pleased with the intife experience. Still the room which highly preferred is the Suite 2 facing the main pool of the hotel.

The ambiance and the room decorations. Breakfast area need an outdoor fan as due to the extreme hot weather was not easy to enjoy.

Every thing was just perfect.

Charming hotel located right in the old town, only a few streets away of the Venetian Harbor. The room was superb, with a small balcony overlooking the pool area, the bed comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. The staff was very friendly and professional, exceeding my expectations.
