A cosy place in a simple and beautiful area. Directly to the sea shore, "beach". The owner was so friendly and responsive. Gathering drinking and dancing... in a worm atmosphere...

Because we were reading the recommendations, we knew that that the bathroom will be small. So what, we are travelers. For us the nice localization, the hotel owner, the clean beds and the fair price is more relevant than such small inconveniences

Taking an shower is not possible - place is too small for even small people. BTW there was no warm water at bathroom.

Friendly stuff, including domestic cats )) Noth8ng special in surrounding, but acceptable. It seems all problems at village depends on have storm which was 2 days before our arrival.

I liked the feeling of the hotel - relaxed and good value - real wooden furniture, stone tiled floors, bed sheets squeaky clean and perfectly ironed - I haven't seen such perfect bed sheets in more expensive hotels! AC was included in the price. There is a fridge in the room. The place is the first line on the beach - you can just walk out for a swim at any time. The owner is an exceptional man - cheerful, friendly and very knowledgeable!

This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand. When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.

The bathrooms are very small very basic rooms, but nice size balconies

The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming couldn't do enough for us. The location right on the seafront is lovely. Very reasonably priced.

The room and the bathroom is old fashion and the bathroom is very small, especially the shower.

The Owner was very nice and polite. Offered room with a better view for no extra charge.

I wouldn’t recommend the location if you’re only passing by , it is distant from everything else, but the small village is very nice, quiet and seaside is amazing. Our rooms didn’t have a real shower (we had to shower on the WC) and this was soo da dangerous because here where some electrical wires coming out of the cabinet above the sink. Another thing, I understands it’s a 1 star hotel but you could at least put the toilet paper in the rooms. The owner was really nice but maybe don’t welcome your guests talking about the earthquake which happened nearby 4/5 days before being super negative about it. Because of the scarse English of the owner we couldn’t properly understand what it meant when talking about the damages caused by at the town and hotel, making us afraid to sleep inside

Nothing we didn’t like

San Giorgio Hotel has perfect location - right in the beach front. The room is simple but very clean and great for us as a couple. Exceptional breakfast with locally-sourced ingredients straight from the farms - all fresh and tasty - highly recommended!!. What made our stay even better is Nikos and his family’s hospitality - they are so kind and warm-hearted people. We hope to come back in the near future 😊

The bathroom did have any space for one to shower. The fridge was set in the way to the bathroom and reduced the space of the room. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the breakfast very fatty! Coffee was horrible.

The location of the hotel is great. We had an ocean view. The fresh orange juice was good. The staff were very friendly and willing to help.

The shower is a bit tight.

The hospitality is great. I had a very warm reception. I had been here last time and now returned. It felt like coming home. The quiet atmosphere is great, the view over the mountains and sea magnificent.

The bathroom is miniscule, undoubtedly the smallest of all our stays in Crete.

The price was great, the room was comfortable but basic. Niko, the proprietor, is a very hospitable host.
