Our XL room wasn't terribly big and there wasn't really enough storage but everything else was great and by the end we were sad to leave.

Lovely area, great shops and bars just a few minutes walk away but not many tourists! Perfect. Roof top view is stunning - recommend sunset drinks. Our XL room had a fab balcony and a record player! Breakfast was super, esp the fridge full of greek yogurt and smoothies and cooked options were delicious

Superb modern room, fun mini bar with house pre mix cocktails at reasonable prices Excellent check in experience Breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever had anywhere in the world Double balcony meant we could have some excellent fresh air through the room Location is within walking distance to everything you need to do in Athens - Plaka, the Partheon, Parliament, tomb of the unknown soldier/changing of the guard, museums, art galleries. Cookooveya Restaurant 5 minutes walk away was outstanding. PT is right next door and we caught the tram bus to the Archeological Museum and the train down to the port area The street next to the hospital 5 minutes walk away has a heap of bakeries for a cheap pick up of coffee, cakes, pastries, rolls etc and there is a local supermarket 5 minutes walk away. The staff are really helpful with information regarding anything you need Finally the roof top is amazing with clear views to the Acropolis and a fun old style phone to dial direct to the bar down stairs for your cocktail order

Modern, clean, nice decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful. Shout out to Ian who hooked us up with fabulous restaurant reservations. Best breakfast buffet ever.

No real negatives - location is outside the main city centre, but therefore quieter (I booked here specifically to attend a conference in the area). Quick metro ride into town.

Really nice hotel. Room was well equipped and included bluetooth speaker, books and even a yoga mat. Staff extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent.

A longer stay !!!

Amazing location and lovely modern clean hotel. However it is the staff that set this hotel apart as they could not do enough for you. From check in , to giving us free umbrellas, booking restaurants and serving us drinks. My room was huge with amenities you would expect in a 5 star property. Rooms were cleaned with in an inch of their life with a well stuffed mini bar that was filled daily.

Excellent location, you can actually walk everywhere (if you want) or take the metro which is 2minutes away. Fantastic design and atmosphere form the 1st step into the hotel, the staff extremely helpful and understanding not only to the customer but also of the style the are presenting. Cosy premises. Rightly sized rooms, spotlessly clean, fantastic modern design with art nouveau touches, Fantastic bathroom with great pressure, free coffee capsules, great bedding (seriously though) and the cosy warm feeling of being at home. Log on to your apple TV or Netflix when you want and relax. Breakfast freshly made and seriously excellent coffee. The soundproofing works fine. Definite return for me as I travel to Athens frequently

Had a great stay at the Modernist! The rooms were great and very clean. Also very quiet for those sensitive to noise.The rooftop was also a perfect place to see the sunset with a view of the Acropolis.The breakfast in the morning was delicious and everyone working there was extremely friendly! A special thanks to Manos for giving us excellent restaurant recommendations!
