Kitchen was ok for 2 people, but the cooker hood wasnt working and needed cleaning as well. 1-2 staff people were extremely rude when we asked for a lighter and a waiter's corkscrew, dont know why such people still have work....they should be fired. Believe rooms need to be described better in booking to provide clarity

It is located 5min by car out of the city of Mytikas, opposite Kalamos island.The area is full of camping sites and ideal for peace and quiet. The beach is ok, but stronlgy suggest to explore all the small gulfs before and after mytikas,access is easy even for families. The room was cleaned everyday, but we requested every 3 days when the linen was changed. They also have a lovely restaurant/bar by the pools open for lunch and dinner with room service available upo request(i.e. be CAREFUL there is nothing to eat within walking distance,as restaurants in Mytikas close for siesta even during high season, but there is a supermarket to pick up things in Mytikas).For peace and privacy suggest to book a room with a side sea view, same view but without the day+night pool noise from kids and people, restaurant. Extra cost for dog, which was reasonable + they set everyday a table for us outside the reastaurant to sit with the dog. Breakfast is really nice and everyday of a different variety. Extremely nice orientation and wonderful view to the sea from all angles if you book a room with a balkony.The also have a small dock to rent a boat to go to Kalamos(without a motorboat license) or they can take you there, reasonably priced and located at the beach of the hotel. Would stay there again or in Palairos where you have more options(stay/eat/drink/activities).

Bed was terrible. It felt like a stiff board on springs. Should be replaced with proper modern mattress.

Sea was a bit dirty and beach under the hotel was very small. Our room was a bit far from pool and our 5y old struggled in the uphill to reach the room. Service in restaurant was slow. Cleaning ladies did not do a good job and bathroom was a bit smelly. Minor things for us though. If cleaning ladies did a better job and service was faster I would give it a 9.

Nice pool and value for money restaurant. Comfy big apartments with two separate rooms and fully equipped. For a hotel on the sea with nice pool I believe I got a good price getting the booking.com discount.

Breakfast could be served earlier. 8AM is generalized in Greece but I prefer earlier. Ofcourse it's just a personal point of view.

So peaceful and relaxing area. Beautiful site with nice snacks bar which serves excellent dishes. Plenty parking spaces, quiet beach and helpful staff. Apartment was very spacious and comfortable, bed and pillows simply exceptional (generallyin hotel's pillows are uncomfortable or to big or to soft, flat...etc.). Breakfast is very good.

Spacious room with little kitchen. Beautiful view over the sea. We had an apartment on the first floor, just a little walk from the wonderful pool. Our dinner was delicious, we choosed from the card. One evening, we just stayed two nights, we choosed the daily special and it was wonderful. It is a dogfriendly hotel.

Thesmos is a wonderful place to stay, would have got a 10 except for location. Staff are extremely welcoming friendly and helpful. We had a villa on the second floor and the views looking across to Mytikas outstanding. Rooms are large, comfortable, plenty of light with security and fly screens. Whole complex is kept very clean and pool area to die for with an infinity pool. You can order snacks and drinks around the pool, there is also a restaurant for food at night. Whole complex is very well designed and would definitely go back.

As in life, nothing is perfect. Here are some things we think could have been better: * during our reservation there was a glitch in the matrix causing problems between Booking and the hotel. While Booking was (almost) prompt to solve the problem, it was very difficult to communicate with the hotel. Maybe it's the limited English knowledge of the owners (yet there were people in the staff who were able to speak), I don't know. This made us pretty anxious ... * the deck to reach the boats can be improved. It's a bit difficult - especially for seniors to get on/off it; * There are few restaurants around attached to the campings around, but they're plain tavernas. They don't look necessarily great and the price is similar to the hotel's one. If for some reason you want to eat outside, you don't have many serious options; * it's not easy to reach there from Igoumenitsa/Patras or Athens. So be prepared to drive; * it seems like the allow indeed non-hotel-clients to use the pool. However, it was never an issue for us as the pool was rarely crowded; * came back with 2 kilos extra weight;

We had a really great stay. We were really sad it ended and it's highly likely to return. What we liked: * the breakfast is good - some mix of Greek food and standard-continental buffet with some reasonable variance; * the dinner is _awesome_. They have a dedicated cook/chef and he is really good. He pays attention to the customers and he listens. While we were a little bit afraid to take the HB option (we noticed that in general hotels pays less attention to clients who already paid), it worth. Even our friends' fussy kids ate everything; * personnel is very friendly. Both Martha (the receptionist) and Magis (the waiter) were extremely helpful (Thank you!); * daily room cleaning; * awesome pool with great view, good sunbeds. The infinity pool kicks ass; * beach is nearby. It's clean, Is not too wide, but being long, I think you can find a good place. I think it's shared with the neighboring camping; * you can rent a boat there. You don't need a permit and you can easily reach the islands across the sea with some great beaches and some restaurants too; * Mitikas is 10 minutes drive away. There is a reasonably good supermaket there with some basic stuff to get you out of trouble if case and a good variety of fruits, drinks or food if you want to be more independent. Also, some good tavernas; * Not sure if this is too great for the hotel - but it was for us: being not to easy to reach, it filter out the mass holidaymakers making the hotel quieter and more cosy;
