Excellent choice. Peaceful location, breathtaking view from the balcony and cozy rooms well equipped, serving outstanding breakfast. Most importantly, the hostess treated us like her family, made us feel like home. She called before our arrival and made us a plan for the things we should see going to the hotel and during our stay. She also proposed 2 perfect restaurants.

The internet did not work well in the room we stayed in. In the dining room it worked fine.

A wonderful family boutique hotel, very close to Zagori and located in a beautiful area. Breakfast was very good, Maria made traditional pie that is suitable for us vegetarians. The village was magical. Maria the owner was super helpful and helped us plan our trips and gave us great tips and information when we needed.

It is a bit challenging to navigate the village to get to the Inn, however Maria was wonderful in assisting to get to the Inn and make us comfortable upon arrival even though it was getting late

Maria makes every effort to provide you with a very warm and relaxed stay. The inn is very tasteful decorated and clean with nice views of the village from the rooms.

Everything was great, except for the shower - it is really narrow, one can barely move without spreading some water around

Perfect place to stay. Maria will make you feel at home, she will help you with anything you need and will give you lots of tips and useful information about the area. The rooms are quiet, beautiful, modern, comfortable and the food is delicious! I strongly recommend you to stay here if you want an unforgettable experience near nature and enjoy Greek hospitality. The property is beautifully planned and maintain. Everything is super clean, and they accommodated every need and desire.

Note that Doliana is a bit west of the main villages and attractions of the Zagori region, so you should add 10-15 minutes to each trip compared to staying in Aritsi or another one of the villages.

A small family-run hotel in Doliana. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. For example, Maria suggested a detailed itinerary for our stay and made sure each morning we had a plan for the day. The breakfast was very tasty with some traditional Greek dishes and desserts. The hotel is located near a big square with trees and gorgeous views, and we felt completely comfortable sending out our 6-y.o. girl to play there with local children, or just sit in the lobby with the owners and (google-translate) talk with them. This square is also perfect for a cold beer in the evening, to relax after a long day of traveling in the Zagori area.

Doliana is the perfect location to visit Vikos and the region. Roptro is the perfect place to stay with the most friendly and sympathetic people! Thank you Maria, Poppy, Dimitri and Constatinos for your unbelievable service. We felt like at home. The place is finely decorated and with great taste. 10/10 without hesitation.

There’s no spot in there not to like! The place inspires calm,love and peace! Amazingly appointed from bottom to the top ( immaculate bed sheets and towels ,spotless clean,delicious breakfast and so much care and love from Maria and Dimitri!

We had a delightful stay at Roptro. The room and breakfast area are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The advice, help of Mrs Maria, assisted by Poppy and Christos as translators, was invaluable for our touring of the area, and for a separate venture into Albania to see the home of my grandparents, which she had organised for us. The food, the coffee and breakfast were all bonuses. We felt like we were in a home!

Maria and her Roptro in the beautiful village of Doliana are truly outstanding. Her hospitality and care were so heartwarming and we felt welcomed the second we walked in. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms smell like fresh washed cotton. She also wrote a handwritten recommendation for a daytrip - and that says it all. Definitely one of the best Bed & Breakfast you can experience. Thank you, Maria, for this lovely stay. ❤️

Wonderful experience at Roptro: from the very tastefully and elegantly renovated rooms that preserve the charm of the old family house while giving it a modern and very cosy twist, to the genuinely kind and helpful hosts. Very glad I met Maria and Dimitris! I'll make sure to stay longer next time.
