What did we like - everything! The apartment was absolute value for money and the hosts were magnificent. It felt as if you were staying with family for a few days. Valentina and her family were family for the few days we stayed. Brilliant!!

A few additional kitchen utensils would be useful - a few extra forks, spoons, and a propper knife. Bathrooms could be refurbished. Just little things, nothing major.

Rustic Greek accommodation with modern clean and comfortable pool and pool bar. Amazing accomodating staff. Great little shop for basics! Love it's family run and was a very relaxing place to spend the week.

I loved everything. Although, I would suggest they write out menus with comprehensive price lists. I saw signs advertising snacks and drinks, but it was far to vague for me to consider asking about it. Details of what was available with the prices would have been really handy, either in the room, on the wall or the bill board outside. I'd like to have ordered something but instead went to a very nice small supermarket down the hill (Crete supermarket). Also, I was not sure if they took visa, which it turned out they do. Be aware there is no washing machine or laundry service as far as I saw. This might be an issue for families or long stays. however, there is a good drying rack on the balcony if you can handwash items. Obviously it is not an expensive place, in fact, i was amazed at what I paid, so that is neither here nor there.

Please note, if you use the bus from Heraklio it is 2 euros twenty, very nice clean and regular, and you get off at bus stop 15. I did not know this and had a bit of a walk. I loved this place more than any others I stayed in because of the charming hosts, birds and the beautiful garden and pool. am interested in bird watching. It is not always easy on Crete, but due to the proximity to a small gorge (Apostolemi), a wild meadow between the road and small settlement, and cliffs nearby, I saw bee-eaters, birds of prey, chaff, gold and green finches, and various others and photographed with a small zoom from my balcony. The bee eaters flew over there and Apostolemi Gorge several times. I was lucky in that they settled on telegraph wires next to my balcony and also on a trees I saw at Aposolemi. As for the accommodation, it is good for a short stay. I got an upgrade, so had a one bedroom flat instead of a studio. the fittings are standard Greek style, with solid wooden table and kitchen cupboards and the place was immaculately clean with a view of the olive groves and hills with cliffs beyond. As the price reflected, it was not high end state of the art, but standard Greek style, but prefect for the short time I was there, and i'd liked to had stayed longer. The pool was crystal clean and clear, and a delight being in gorgeous grounds with olive groves at the back. I am quite fussy about what water I swim in and this was cleaner than most. There were plenty loungers around the pool, which were very comfortable due to an ergonomically positioned neck rest, been bags, benches, tables, also some outdoor toys for children. It is a family run place and the hosts are typically welcoming like most Cretans, in fact the lady is super delightful, and made me feel at home from the start. I hope I am lucky enough to go back some day and am grateful for the experience.

Friendly people and good location for buses along the coast. A short walk to the beach with bars and restaurants. Maria kept apartments beautifully clean and the pool was a great place to relax.

Mosquitoes bites but that had nothing to do with Valantinas just mother nature .

Loved the welcome and the friendliness of all the staff . Valentina was vey welcoming , Alex cooked super Greek traditional food 10/10 ,Maria kept it clean and tidy , Manos looked after the pool and outside areas. Great pool area . Super place to stay . Good location Lovely chilled stay for us .

More equipment in the kitchen area would have been helpful .The TV had one channel which was Greek ,so me and my wife had to watch the Queens funeral in Greek. Mosquito's seemed to be a nuisance at night even with the electrical Mossie Repeller.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful ,also Maria and Alexander were very good to. The location was very quiet as you are not in the center of Kato Gouves which made it very peaceful. the view of the olive grove opposite was lovely also and the garden was very pretty.

Beautiful place with fantastic friendly staff. Valentina, Alex and Maria all made me feel very comfortable as I was on my own for a few days. The accommodation is very good. I had living/kitchen room, bathroom and bedroom. Spotlessly clean. The pool area was lovely very chilled. Barbecue night was great fun and the food delicious.

The friendlinessof the people, valentina, Manos, Alexandria and Maria. The apartment was really nice and spotlessly clean, and a lovely pool just a few steps away accross a small road. We had a really a superh holiday here, and I can highly recommend staying here, we intend to go back hoprfully next year.

Wi-Fi wasn’t great in our room & it’s a long walk to the beach but bus stops are nearby & we had a car so we were only 4 minutes away from the main area. €6 charge per day for A/C but we didn’t use it in May

Everything! Great value for money, spacious apartment for two adults and two babies, swimming pool is exactly like the pictures & done to a high standard, restaurant & mini supermarket onsite too. Order their homemade orange cake in advance too, native to that area of Crete & the best we’ve had in all of Greece!!

Valentina and your colleague, thank you so much!! We are in delight! Clean and pretty room, cleaning at every day with dishwashing (it's a dream!). Very responsive owner:) Comfortable swimming pool area (because of the October (it isn't a season) we were alone there, like a kings:) The sea coast were about 25 minutes, but for us it wasn't a problem, we like go for a walk, specially in Greece:) Also, you can go to other cities to the bus if you drank a delicious greece wine, which you bought to Valentine's shop and you can't drive a rent car :) Bus stop is lokated about 5 minutes from the hotel. With pleasure, I recommend this place:)

A lot of mosquitos (mosquito nets are torn a little) , poor Wi-Fi in the room, not nice smell in the bathroom at times (unfortunately due to the drainage system, as the bathroom were cleaned every day)

The room itself had everything we needed - beds were quite comfortable, we had an electric kettle, basic cooking facitilies, a small bathroom and air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned every day which was super great. The pool area also was really nice. But we loved especially the ladies from the stuff. Valentina and others are super warm and make the place exceptional. We were served a great Greek pizza really late at night when we came from the airport and we could count on their support or advice anytime. We would definitely come back

I reported to Valentina that the shower holder was broke and couldn't take a shower and they didn't do anything.Just said that has broke and that's it ! My boyfriend fix it with a scrounge for hair !! They could at least check it and improvise something for us.The rest of the facility is ok and the host is very nice.
